this hotel is/has all you need/want yes rooms are small but not tiny!! and for the location & cleanliness you really cant fault it....room had no window ...did it make a difference no not at all...had wonderful comfy bed fab tv excellent wet room...plenty tea/coffee (unlike some hotels where you only get one coffee per person!!) also fresh bottled water lovely soft fresh towels provided and location excellent...staff lovely and helpful lovely free cheese & wine in evenings staff get involved and make it feel more homely than strict hotel. will be back.

Room Tip: if yr looking for somewhere central for a few days this is ideal......for cost...go you wont find another its literally 2mins walk from victoria bus stn....would also recommend this for couples who want a romantic break!!

Hi my sister and I just visited for two nights, and we arrived early to the hotel. Upon arrival we were not greeted, we had to say hello, we were checking in. First thing he said was you are early, which it was 9 am of course we knew that! They stored our bags until 3 pm which was great. We were never offered a welcome, a map, no friendly warmth at all! If we had not been to London prior this would have been more of a kicker. We stayed in the cheapest room, double no windows, and yes it was tiny, but that did not bother us as we expected it. It was very clean and modern which was great. The room was very hot though, so no airflow. Also no phones in the room, that was a first. i asked to use front desk phone and one of staff were speaking to a guest, so another staff member handed me his cell phone after I stood there for 10 minutes, kind but unproffesional, and they only have one phone for the hotel!? They have a "restaurant" but it's literally one long table in the middle of reception room. And check in desk is a cappuccino bar, so really strange. As for location, excellent literally across from Victoria tube station, and walking distance to all of central London and sites. This hotel would be so much better if they focused on service, you can tell these couple of staff members, that are young kids by the way, have no customer service experience. We were never greeted ever while walking in and out. Lastly upon check out they said ok no charges, you are good to go, and by the way was your stay fine? Wow, interesting choice of words. So overall our stay was fine, yes, just fine! We had no expectations going in, so this was our thoughts.

The service at this hotel is outstanding. The staff does everything it can to make you happy. The rooms are very small, but the staff and services make up for it. Every night there is free wine and cheese in the lobby/dining area. This gave the hotel sort of a chalet type feel. It was very relaxed and enjoyable. It made you want to hang out in the lobby. The rooms are modern and clean. However, if you are shy about doing your business in the bathroom, be advised. The walls of the bathroom are all glass.

Room Tip: The rooms without windows were not that bad. Travel with small luggage since the rooms are very small.

My mom and I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. In general we were satisfied with our stay though the room is bit too small for comfort. There is also no wardrobe, so you'll have to hang your coats and clothes on the few hooks provided in the room. Also, the air conditioning is centrally controlled during the wee hours of the night, so the room can get pretty stuffy and warm (we woke up one of the nights perspiring but not able to do anything because the air conditioning is centrally controlled). There is also no phone in the room, so you're unable to ring up the reception if there're any problems.

But the cons aside, the location is great (just couple of minutes walk to Victoria tube station, also walking distance to Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park, and Westminster Abbey), the design of the room and toilet is modern - this is basically a standard small room ideal for travellers on a short stay or spend most of the time out of their rooms.

Very good value for money as me and my boyfriend went for a night a few days before christmas and only paid £60 between us. We stayed in the z queen inside room (which has no window). I thought this would be fine but it was a little strange and felt a little boxed in. Waking up was difficult as there was no natural light to help wake you up. Also, we could not tell what the weather was like outside so could not see that it was raining/cold and so wear coats or sunny etc. When trains passed underneath us, we could feel this even though we were on the second floor of the hotel. This was not awful noise and vibrations though. However, the room was very clean and comfy. Nice tv which had a good range of sky channels. Had all of the basics. The hotel offered complimentary cheese and wine 1900 from 2100 but we were out at this time. All staff were very friendly. If I were in London just for the night again I would stay here but any longer and I would book a room with a window! Good location too, nice short walk to Buckingham palace and good connections on the underground (which is very very nearby)

Room Tip: Choose a room with a window if you are staying for more than one night!
