We stayed here for two nights last weekend as we were getting a coach from Victoria to head to Bruges for the day and wanted to be near the station.
We had booked a Queen Inside room which meant we didn't have a window. I was a little concerned about feeling claustrophobic but it was absolutely fine. Particularly as the air conditioning is good which makes you feel as though you have some air.
Our room was small (as we expected) but there was plenty of room for the two of us plus our luggage. The room was clean, the toiletries were very nice, the bed was comfortable and there were tea and coffee making facilities.
The hotel provides a free wine and cheese happy hour for residents and we did take advantage of this on the first night. It's a nice touch.
We had breakfast on one morning (which we paid extra for) and found this to be plentiful and varied, with bacon rolls, croissants, bread, cheeses and ham.
Service was good. Staff were always visible and helpful.
We would stay here again if we wanted to be located centrally and would definitely go for a queen sized room as other reviews suggest the standard rooms are too small for two people.More
