“Nice surprise!”
Reviewed 9 January 2014

We had no idea what we was walking into, but we ended up staying until the cold weather made us leave. After the books there was the food and the nice things. No mass produced stuff as far as I saw. But it was a lot of people Saturday sometime round five and six. I will definitely go again.

“A Pleasant place to whole away”
Reviewed 17 December 2013 via mobile

The Christmas and book market is a great place to spend a while wandering around - food, small gifts and places to sit and have a drink and watch the world go by. I recommend this as a place to go.

“Quirky and fun”
Reviewed 11 November 2013

I went to this market on a recent long weekend and we both found something to buy. The tables are neatly laid out and you can see everything easily. There is plenty of space around the tables so you're not cramped or getting pushed into. The prices ranged from £1.50 to £4 for a paperback, with special editions and older books going anywhere between £5 and £30. Not the cheapest place to buy second hand books but well worth a look, just for the experience. The staff were also very friendly even though it was a frigid cold day!

“Books and Prints Under the Bridge”
Reviewed 5 October 2013

We spent some time strolling the Southbank on a sunny afternoon. We stumbled upon this book market and thoroughly enjoyed sorting through tables and tables of books. Well worth a visit if you're in the neighborhood.

“Fun to see”

Perfect area to get an icecream cone and people watch. The walk around the waterfront from the Eye to London bridge cannot be equalled for an enjoyable afternoon out!
