A kiwi cafe in the heart of London that provides an alternative to the usual chains of coffee houses. The coffee is consistently good and the breakfast whilst being limited is good quality especially the museli with the fruit and yoghurt and honey drizzeld on top.
The service is casual friendly kiwi although sometimes you may find the kiwi a little elusive much the same as the bird!!

Being Kiwis we naturally wanted to support this Kiwi run cafe. The decor was amazing and the place had a nice vibe. The coffee was really good however the breakfast menu was very restricted and very average. You get better breakfasts in NZ cafes hence whyI was disappointed and it was expensive for what it was. The most disappointing thing was the barista (probably the owner) although pleasant didn't even greet us or welcome us as fellow Antipodeans and he had a foreign speaking waitress and she couldn't understand us? I guess I expected Kiwi staff and that potentially would have made it more Kosher.

The cafe in Carnaby Street and the little stalls around town are all equally amazing. Consistently great coffee and the salads and cakes are also well worth it!

I visited this cafe with my dad in April 2012. We ordered lunch and drinks and sat down to wait at one of the tables. The table was filthy - littered with the rubbish of previous customers. When the guy brought the food over, he just placed it down on top of this. I asked him politely if he would mind removing the rubbish and wiping the table down. Very grudgingly, and only after I removed the paper plates cups, and food debris myself, he came back with a paper serviette, and made a single swipe over the table. When I asked him to wipe it properly, he retorted resentfully "I can't wipe what I can see".
He clearly has NO training in public health, and no concept of what bacteria is. I asked to speak with the manager, and he replied he was the manager.
The service was slow, the food over-priced and the attitude of this staff member reprehensible. I asked for a reciept, and I was given a hand-written un-itemised reciept, which didn't allow me to check (as I suspected) whether we had been over-charged for the food we bought. We won't be back.
