“A wonderful afternoon learning how to make Vietnamese food”
Reviewed 8 July 2014

I received such a warm welcome on arrival at the School of Wok. Nothing was too much trouble. The facilities were clean and tidy and I was impressed by the high-tech hob! The three hour lesson was led by Nev, who showed eleven of us how to create several dishes. Nev is a real people person who managed to combine easy going humour with an incredible knowledge of Asian cooking. At the end of all the preparation and cooking we sat down together and enjoyed our meal. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the School of Wok and would highly recommend it!

“Great fun day out in London”
Reviewed 1 July 2014

We went to School of Wok last weekend with a group of friends and had a brilliant day out PLUS we amazed ourselves with our previously unknown cookery skills. Chef Nev is a fab teacher and made it fun for everyone no matter what skill level/ experience. The food prep and cooking is really informative (learned loads of new things!) and then to get to eat the dishes is a great end to the day! The location near Covent Garden is great, really easy for everyone to get to and the facilities themselves are super clean... Would really recommend it as a day activity in London and already planning in a Chinese night in with friends to showcase my sweet and sour chicken!

“Excellent - our best cooking experience”
Reviewed 21 June 2014 via mobile

We got this as a gift, and it was by far the best cooking course we've been on (we did the flavours of china course). Nev, our host, was fantastic-warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. Great facilities and some useful skills learned for both everyday cooking and those special occasions.

Would definitely recommend. Thank you!

“Always a fun evening!”
Reviewed 10 June 2014

We use School of Wok for corporate entertainment as it fits with our brand and is something a little different to offer clients.

Nev, Jeremy and Stephan always make sure we have a good evening and go out of their way to enure that everything goes to plan. As we're entertaining high value clients we can't afford for anything to go wrong and School of Wok has never let us down.

They offer an evening that is fun and entertaining and our clients always have a good time. Dietary requests are dealt with without any issues (even a few strange requests) and we get very good feedback from our guests.

I'd have no hesitation in recommending School of Wok to anyone.

“Flavours of China”
Reviewed 17 May 2014

I went to the Flavours of China course and highly recommend it. Stefan led a very interesting and practical day, He gave clear explanations and commentary and was very helpful to each of us. I learned some basic skills surprisingly not learned before; and an improved knowledge of selecting and preparing ingredients which led to delicious results, The proof of which is that the recipes we cooked have already been repeated at home to great acclaim.
