Really quirky, the staff are great, really chatty and helpful. Reception and bar area is terrific, amazing decor and perfect to sit and read one of the many books available. Rooms like nothing else, bed is amazing (really can get lost!) and techie system for everything is fun if a little tricky to master. Love the wet room - brilliant bathroom! Really worth giving it a try, at least once!

We stayed at Citizen M for 4 nights while visiting London for a holiday. The hotel is located at a short walk from Southwark station and it's easily accessible from Heathrow Airport on the tube. It is walkable distance from Tate Modern and the Millennium Bridge.

The hotel's room is small but sufficient. The shower is large for a small room and you can change the colour of the shower using the Samsung tablet. This hotel has the best lobby ever (and I've stayed in some expensive hotels including Hiltons). It has comfortable couches and work stations so you can relax or work. They have 4 iMacs and heaps of power points to charge your devices. And of course there is free wifi that is reliable and doesn't drop out like other hotels.

The only things they can improve on is the food selection at their "CanteenM" and to put a kettle in the rooms. Not much selection in food for breakfast. I'd recommend going to a nearby cafe called Carlos' Cafe.

Overall this is an awesome hotel to stay at for business or holiday. I would stay there again on my next trip to London.

The room was like a 'pod' and not very spacious but it was well equipped and funky - staff were excellent very helpful and poilte. great breakfast - definately use it again for business or pleasure :)
The modern technolgy in the room to open & close blinds, mood lighting, heat controls etc proved hilarious after a few beers but there is an alternative on the wall. A great nights stay.

A very funky hotel, very clean and tidy rooms, perfect for a London stay over for business professionals - USB connections in the wall for charging your devices, a desk to sit at, a nice bathroom, a nice LCD TV controlled by the Samsung tablet at the side of your bed. On Demand films were all FREE which was nice - (Unless there was some problem with my room).

Nice ambient lighting in the room, blinds controlled electronically / shame a about the view out the window, but hey you are in central London and this is a good value hotel.

Whilst the rooms are small, they are jammed with everything you need and they do not feel claustrophobic.

Electronic check in and out, so no dilly-dallying around.

Lovely reception and good value buffet breakfast (£13.95 at 07/12/12)

Really nice, I would highly recommend to any business traveller.

Near Tate Modern, bankside.

Good range of shops and restaurants opposite.

Near to the lovely Borough Market.

Room Tip: Visit Borough Market when you are in the area, should NOT be missed!

Location within 5 mins walk to river, Tate Modern, with variety of restaurants nearby. Enjoyed the vibe, the books, the fire in the public areas. With "interesting" spotless private rooms. Shame no family rooms, check this though?

Small rooms but with all comfort and more you need for a city trip. Modern, state of the art technics (Samsung tablet), friendly staff, good service, trendy bar, quiet rooms and clean. I like the bed very much. For a tall couple as we are, both 2 meter, comfortable and kingsize bed!
We will not doubt going elsewhere while travelling to London!

Okay one remark, brewing your coffee with a good cappuccino machine takes a while and leads to restless queues in the mornings at breakfast.

Great location for seeing the sights of the city. Great e-check in system. Loved the decor of the public areas. Compact room with great entertainment system. Loved the lighting and ability to change to suit mood. Could do with under floor heating or rug to stand on. Pillows bit too thick for me. Great to have ironing room on each floor.
