Location was perfect, near the bus station RV1 which goes directly to Covent Garden. 5 minutes walking there is the London Bridge station of underground. Staff is very nice and helpfull. The room is quite small but very technological, you can comand everything with the tablet you find in. INternet free everywhere, film free in your room etc.. Design and modern.

Location was good, near Southwark station. Best words to describe the lobby and overall ambiance of hotel would probably be smart, quirky and relaxed. It was super easy to check-in. Never thought it could be so fast. We got the room we asked for (upper floor, facing the street).

Room was nice and convenient, like a pod. Room's functions (tv, internet, curtains, lights and moods) were operated with Samsung tablet. It worked out all right. There was also a selection of movies available! Altering the light and moods in the room was fun, it brought a nice surplus. Thought sometimes it was difficult to find just the normal lighting It was good to have fridge. Bed was great, but sharing one blanket just doesn't work for me (or for us). Do people really use one shared blanket :)? Toilet and shower seemed very clean.

Few things that could be done better. Floor heating or a rug or something. A short manual for tablet. Now we had to call to the "reception" for instructions when Internet connection "timed out". Perhaps one thing that staff could do besides cleaning is to put guest's tablet into the charger. It didn't come to my mind and therefore as we arrived from day out, we found empty tablet. But these were very small things and didn't mess up the big picture.

All and very good experience. Hotel suited nicely to weekend visit.

You can even have a drink or some food. Great lobby, nice staff. Rooms are efficiently decorated. Big plus is the WiFi throughout the hotel, which actually works without having to put your phone in the air or sit on the toilet to find the signal. Tablet in your room to operate everything but the shower in the room. Different music channels.
Environmental friendly, encourages you NOT to print your reservation, just remember your emailadress. Looking forward trying the other CitizenM hotels

Really quirky, the staff are great, really chatty and helpful. Reception and bar area is terrific, amazing decor and perfect to sit and read one of the many books available. Rooms like nothing else, bed is amazing (really can get lost!) and techie system for everything is fun if a little tricky to master. Love the wet room - brilliant bathroom! Really worth giving it a try, at least once!

We stayed at Citizen M for 4 nights while visiting London for a holiday. The hotel is located at a short walk from Southwark station and it's easily accessible from Heathrow Airport on the tube. It is walkable distance from Tate Modern and the Millennium Bridge.

The hotel's room is small but sufficient. The shower is large for a small room and you can change the colour of the shower using the Samsung tablet. This hotel has the best lobby ever (and I've stayed in some expensive hotels including Hiltons). It has comfortable couches and work stations so you can relax or work. They have 4 iMacs and heaps of power points to charge your devices. And of course there is free wifi that is reliable and doesn't drop out like other hotels.

The only things they can improve on is the food selection at their "CanteenM" and to put a kettle in the rooms. Not much selection in food for breakfast. I'd recommend going to a nearby cafe called Carlos' Cafe.

Overall this is an awesome hotel to stay at for business or holiday. I would stay there again on my next trip to London.

The room was like a 'pod' and not very spacious but it was well equipped and funky - staff were excellent very helpful and poilte. great breakfast - definately use it again for business or pleasure :)
The modern technolgy in the room to open & close blinds, mood lighting, heat controls etc proved hilarious after a few beers but there is an alternative on the wall. A great nights stay.

A very funky hotel, very clean and tidy rooms, perfect for a London stay over for business professionals - USB connections in the wall for charging your devices, a desk to sit at, a nice bathroom, a nice LCD TV controlled by the Samsung tablet at the side of your bed. On Demand films were all FREE which was nice - (Unless there was some problem with my room).

Nice ambient lighting in the room, blinds controlled electronically / shame a about the view out the window, but hey you are in central London and this is a good value hotel.

Whilst the rooms are small, they are jammed with everything you need and they do not feel claustrophobic.

Electronic check in and out, so no dilly-dallying around.

Lovely reception and good value buffet breakfast (£13.95 at 07/12/12)

Really nice, I would highly recommend to any business traveller.

Near Tate Modern, bankside.

Good range of shops and restaurants opposite.

Near to the lovely Borough Market.

Room Tip: Visit Borough Market when you are in the area, should NOT be missed!
