Booked here on the recommendation of a friend who's stayed in the one in Amsterdam. As soon as you walk in you feel at home, the lobby/bar/lounge area is warm and inviting. Check-Ins a breeze using the terminals and RFID keycards and the room was great. We had a hand written note welcoming us, a lovely touch.

The rooms are not large but they're chic and have a great, and huge, bed.

Being a geek I loved the tablet mood pad which controls everything from TV, room lighting, temperature, blinds etc. Free WiFi was fast very welcome, makes a change not to be fleeced as most others do for this.

We loved it so much we will be back!

Finally the PERFECT hotel model! A place you want to be in (fun philosophy and great design), comfortable (the extra large king size beds in all rooms are amazing and the temperature, lighting, and media all controlled by a "moon pad"), great atmosphere and food, all at a price that makes it affordable enough not just to be an occasional luxury treat!
A lot of hotels have an awful lot to learn from them!

Great concept this hotel has. Although the room are very small but well equipped with nice gadgets, the best place of the hotel is the general area. It is not a lobby but a nice place to work and to relax (small bar) in the middle. Across the street a food market with reat hot dogs.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for one night on Valentines day, and we had the most incredible stay!
I had been wanting to stay at a CitizenM for ages, and when we finally got round to booking, it was so much better than I had imagined!
The room was incredible, I could have spend all day in there! And it was in the perfect location for us, it was a bit of a walk to all the places we wanted to go, but I enjoyed the walk and enjoyed exploring the area.
I would absolutely definitely 100& stay there again, I can't wait for my next stay!

Room Tip: All the rooms are amazing!

CitizenM London Bankside is one of five citizenM-hotels in the World (London, Amsterdam, Glasgow and Rotterdam). The concept is quite a unique: bring all the technology you can imagine for the visitors (self check inn, digital room keys, Samsung pad that operates internet, digital on demand TV with movies, colors and lights in the room, curtains, ...) and at those same time keep your guests well taken care off in a modern Chic environment.

Rooms are quite a small ones - big comfy bed, good toilet and shower, big TV and that's almost that. On the other hand public areas are big, decorated nicely and almost like in a modern home. People seem to like staying there having a drink in the evenings, talking with each other and typing their computers. The bar was full every evening :-)

Breakfast is simple but adequate with barista coffee your style.

Great place for short business trip or if you are interested to see their decorations / art. For a longer visit or visit with kids I would choose otherwise.

Very good and polite service at quite a good location in London - little hard to find if you come from wrong direction...

Room Tip: While checking inn you choose your room looking either inside the doughnut or outside - it might get...

A great hotel that has a fantastic balance of design, community and those little touches that set it apart without losing the fundamentals - cleanliness, safety and quiet. Brilliant staff always there for you and looking to make your stay the best they can. I've stayed in many hotels across London and the Globe and I can safely say this is one of the best I've been to. Without doubt the best value for money in the city.

Room Tip: If you are on Business the staff will help you pick a quadrant facing room which are quieter.

After staying at the Amsterdam City location, I knew what to expect - a funky, modern and uber cool hotel - with a unique concept. This was delivered, however it still exceeded my expectations.

All of the rooms in each property, are identical, so no need to get the "best room".

If you are visiting a new location, or somewhere familiar to you, I believe there is no need for the Room Service, Butler and other extras that come with the traditional concept of a hotel. Why waste your time eating ice cream and watching movies, when you could be out exploring?

The rooms are slightly different to Amsterdam City. There is a fridge, the toilet and shower are contained in one area (instead of separately), and the room is controlled by a tablet.

I will always stay in a citizenm property wherever I go, it has everything you need,

Room Tip: Choosing a room on a high floor and facing the courtyard is great and little les noisy.
