My wife and I reached just before midnight (after theatre and a traffic jam) and found a quick and efficient reception. We were allotted room 001, a famiy room on the ground floor with windows directly onto the street. There was some street noise, mostly from pedestrians leaving the pubs after last orders, but this quieted down rapidly. The room was very clean and seemed freshly painted, though this otherwise good maintenance was spoilt by some dents in the walls. The wireless Internet service was continuously functional but very slow.

The termperature control in the bath didn't work, and the shower was so scaldingly hot that it was unusable. My wife and I had to resort to splashing water on ourselves from the spout in the tub.

The breakfast room is close quarters - typical of small hotels in central London - but with good service and a full English breakfast on offer.

All in all this hotel is average value for central London. It does need to sort out the issue with the shower, though.

Room Tip: Avoid ground-floor rooms that face the street.

Excellent value. Great location, close to everything you'd want. Paddington just 5 mins walk with bars and most types of food very close. Breakfast good too! Great to stay here if you are on a budget. Would definitely stay again.

This B&B is in a great location with good accommodations. It's kind of quirky, with lots of stairs and doors. Ideal if you are on a limited budget. Overall, a good deal, but the breakfast should be avoided.

I spent a week at the Hyde Park Radnor, the room I stayed in was small but suitable for my needs although the bed was a little on the small side?! I'm 5'6 and my feet were just hanging over the end of the bed!

The breakfast area was a little disorganised, coffee ran out and not refilled unless asked, yoghurts there one day but not the next, the staff were all foreign and spoke barely any English, every morning greeted with the same English words "tea, coffee?" "English breakfast" no Good Morning, no smiles, no personality no manners; I find it polite to be asked if i'd like more tea or more toast, but received none of that, having to ask if I required more of anything. The food itself wasn't up to much either I'm sorry to say.

I will say that the location of the hotel is superb, right next to Hyde Park, Paddington Station, loads of eateries and plenty of bars.

Extremely comfortable rooms [albeit a little small] super friendly owners! reasonable rates and a great location! All this and a top class "full English" breakfast make this a true bargain! Lots of excellent pubs a range of ethnic and fast foods can be found locally and a few minutes from Paddington Main line and Underground stations!

Room Tip: Travelling alone, single rooms size wise, are more than adequate!

Have stayed at this hotel many times before, as I consider it safe for single female travellers. When I was here earlier on the year I paid £55 a night for the week. I was here 2 weeks ago and paid £65 a night with no debit card charge. I arrived this week to be charged £75 a night plus I was told I had to pay 3% for a credit or Debit card payment, this I was told was being charged throughout London by all hoteliers. I called in at a number of hotels that day to be told this was nonsense. That would of added over £40 to my stay. Non of this information is advertised on their website. I am very disappointed, and feel this charge is not fair to the customer, I was told by the receptionist that these are bank charges for the hotel passed on to the customers.
