“Nearby Alternative to the Hard Rock”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 May 2014

If you don't want to wait in line at the Hard Rock, walk on down just a little way to this place. There is a dining room upstairs that serves decent food. It doesn't have much seating, but we were able to get a table at 6:30 pm on a Saturday.

“Nice food”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 May 2014

We popped in for lunch after booking into our nearby hotel.. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I ordered a salad and my husband was happy as they had ribs all the food was very nice, well presented and reasonably priced.
We called in later that night after watching a show and found one of the lunchtime staff still on duty and still bubbly and attentive..
Overall a nice pub with nice food..

“Better Than Hard Rock by a Mile”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 April 2014

Unlike the more 'famous' Hard Rock caff, this pub welcomes you with a smile and serves you with food and drinks at a fraction of the other place's prices. It deserves to be successful.

“The Cod Father Of Pubs!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 April 2014

Sure, stop at The HRC Store and be sure to go in the vault. Then after marveling at the guitars, step around the corner and eat at this classic pub! Gerry Marshall, the manager, greeted me at the door and it is obvious from walking in that he and his staff take great pride in their pub and their work. Bex pumped a cask ale for me as I ordered the Cod Father, consisting of a nice large filet with chips and mushy peas. The service was outstanding from start to finish and there is a nice classic pub food menu. So the next time you are in Green Park and want a classic pub experience, this is the place! They fill up for lunch but have plenty of room for you. Find a table and order at the bar on the ground level. You will not be disappointed!
