Hotel in Paddington

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 28 Apr 2019
I stayed here with my son for 2 nights.

We were dropped off in Paddington by National Express and had a short walk - via a Tesco Express which is across the road fro the hotel - it took us about 15 minutes.

Booking in was easy and the staff helpful, although on arrival the lift was not working, however the man in reception offered us help with our cases.

Our room was small - however this is Central London and rooms are small.

The hotel is inexpensive for central London.
Date of stay: April 2019
Room Tip: Get a room at the back of the hotel as the front is quite noisy

I selected this location because I was flying out of Heathrow. It has a Testco market across the street so there're options for food and drink. The staff members Gilda and Buse were friendly and helped me register for membership.

Stayed here for one night with a friend visiting London. It’s fit for purpose and value for money. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are cleaned and it’s in a convenient location between two tube stations.

Good location and service. Few minutes walk to bus stop and tube station. Quite clean room. Towels can be changed daily, but make up bed and room is just on the check in day. The last day the lift broke but the staff was kind to help us with the luggages down from 3rd to ground floor via stairs. Overall, worth the money.

I spent a total of 8 nights at this nice little hotel , the reception staff were nice and always meet me with a smile on face .
The location is more than perfect , bus stops, metro, variety of Restaurant , grocery stores all within few meters away.

As an a wheelchair user i had an accessible room with roll in shower .
the room was wide enough for my manual wheelchair and the bathroom design was excellent.
My only concern during my stay was the height level of the bed so every time i transferred to the bed from my wheelchair was a challenge for me because I use my upper body strength to lift my self from the wheelchair to the bed and it was kind of risky and dangerous because of the bed was too high .
So please try to do something about it by replacing the high mattress or the bed frame with a lower one .

Aldafferi Hamad.

Check in was fast and easy. Although I booked a room Double Accessible( room larger in size, based on the room descriptions ), that was not the one given to us. Did not complain anymore since we are so tired from our long flights, we just want to rest. They gave us a Double, space was very tight. Have to open one suitcase by the door, so you cannot leave it open or else there’s no space to walk around. Only 2 pillows on the bed 😞. The room is updated, not dingy and dirty. The room and bathroom, always clean. AC (which is very important to us) was a thumbs up! Bus and train station/stop is walkable. Theres a mini grocery store in front of the hotel. Some restaurants near by.
Saturday(4/13/2019), the night before checking out, I asked the front desk how much to do late check out and she said, late check out is at 2pm and it’s £30, so that’s an extra 3 hours because check out is at 11am. Then I asked her how about storing our luggage and she said, she’ll put a note in the computer that she’s giving us complimentary luggage storage, not sure how much is it if it’s not complimentary. Although, we did not use it and we did not stay for late check out. The next day on check out, the lady( I think her name was Gabi) the was on the front desk gave us complimentary coffees (that was nice!) then off we go!
Hotel is a little bit out of the busy area of London, but because trains and bus are not too far, I’d rather stay here.
Fyi, London has too many smokers (they are everywhere) they don’t mind if they are blowing it in your face😡. No to secondhand smoking!!!
