Great little hotel in the heart of the South Bank. Walking distance to all major attractions. Very clean, good value and a great breakfast. You know what you are getting with Premier inn and they never fail to provide.
Well done and thanks

Room Tip: Rooms are a good size for London, we had a great stay thanks

I may regret writing this review next time I attempt to book the Premier Inn Southwark and find that it's already full. But to give it less than full praise would be greatly unfair.
To begin, the hotel is well situated for a lot of South Bank locations as well as many just across the river, they are all well within walking distance for the fit. For those who are not then a good bus service at the end of the road will get you to Waterloo or London Bridge stations/underground in minutes.
The hotel itself is new so clean, warm, comfortable and pretty sound-proof. The rooms are of good standard for the cost and the dining room provides excellent value meals. Add to this the friendly and helpful staff and prices that reflect reality as far as us 'out of towners' are concerned it is easy to see why I would be wanting to book again on our next visit to London - so long as too many others don't read reviews like this! A particular bonus was the great local pub thirty yards up the street andTesco and Sainsbury convenience stores (with cash points) almost on the doorstep. There are also several acceptable restaurants within five minutes walk.
Top marks to Premier Inn for providing reasonably priced accommodation in the centre of London.

This is a new Premier Inn which is perfectly sited if you like being by the Thames and staying out of noise and traffic. The staff were helpful, tactful, enthusiastic, friendly but, thank heaven, not obsequious. We are developing brand loyalty after numerous satisfactory stays with this budget chain, and this was a particularly good example. We were there a week and had an excellent time. The location could hardly be better, and we were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go as tourists: the Shard, the Houses of Parliament, the South Bank and Royal Festival Hall, the river boat piers for a trip to Greenwich, Southwark Playhouse, the Globe, HMS Belfast, even the British Museum. My 87 year old mother in law joined us for some of the time and she was also very satisfied with the hotel. The breakfasts are especially good as you can choose what you like from a broad range, without fuss.

Good hotel...clean, sound-proof rooms and a few minutes' walk from underground station. Breakfast quite good and the meal deal for 22.99 is worth considering should you like to eat in. All staff members were very nice and helpful. Would stay at Premier Inn again in the future.

We stayed here in our recent London trip last week with our 2 kids. I find the location to be good and we feel safe even at night. The room is a bit small but it works for us since we only need a place to sleep anyway.

My only concern is that due to their computer glitch (or so they told us), in 4 days for our stay, 3 days our room has not been cleaned. It said that the room is unoccupied so housekeeping did not bother to check it. I keep reminding the reception that the room needs cleaning, garbage taken out and new towels are needed. The night receptionist did help us take the garbage out and new towels were given to us after another day of not cleaning. Also I paid for 2 breakfast but once again, on the 2nd day, our name is not on their list so we were not allowed to enter, I had to find the email they sent to show that I did indeed paid for that day. Other concern is the Wifi, I paid for it but was only allowed to use to 1 device. That sucks big time for people accustomed to multiple devices and wifi.

Excellent accommodation, really friendly and helpful staff.
We dined first night in dining room and had a great meal - steak cooked perfectly. Also very close to lots of other restaurants - on second night we dined at Zizzi looking out at St Pauls and watched the night sky light up. very close to Tate Modern, embankment, London eye and millennium bridge so really good location.

I wasn't a over night guest in the hotel, but I did spend a bit of time there last Saturday evening. While I was I was assisted by a wonderful young lady on the front desk, I think her name was Yasmin, the service she provided not only to myself but other guests and clients and well was absolutely amazing, coming from a front office back ground, this young lady was a superstar. Next time I am in the area I will defiantly be booking a room a here.
