me and my wife stayed here for three nights over new year. I have stayed at several other ibis hotels and this one was prety much the same, apart from the shower is in the bedroom separte from the tioliet. being bit picky but overall the room was modern and clean. It is very close to the tube station, which we used every day ( £7.30) for a day ticket which i think is really good.
When we arived we pre payed for a buffet style breakfast, which we thought was goping to be a typical english breakfast, but i personally was alittle dissappointed as it was just cerial and baggels. But there is many resturants and cafe up and down ther main street so not all bad.

PARKING......we found parking was bad, i was driving round for ages trying to find a car park and then trying to find one that isnt £25 a day, but i did mange to find one for £15 a day just up the road, oppisite the other ibis hotel.

overall we was happy with our stay here and really had the best time in london BABBBY :)

Accomodation in London is definitely expensive, so finding the best cost-benefit option takes a lot of searching. I had seen shabbier, faraway from the city center locations during my search for the same rates, so this one really stood out as the best option. It is a decent budget hotel, facilities are new and clean. Size-wise, the room is quite all right for two people, I expected worse based on the reviews here. The bed is quite hard and not having a proper place for storing clothes is annoying, especially if you're staying for a while, like we did (we spent 6 nights here). You only get some hangers for your clothes. The shower is good, but the floor right outside the box gets all wet after using it - which makes taking a shower a real messy business. There's free Internet connection, but quite slow. Breakfast is good value, but you have to be an early bird, otherwise you'll have to spend time standing in line for food and getting a table to sit. You can borrow a hair drier for £ 10.00 and leave your suitcases in storage after check-out for a small fee. Neighborhood is OK, not the prettiest, but safe and convenient - two subway stations, two Tesco supermarkets, close to Brick Lane - where there are a lot of restaurants - Spitalfields Market, you can even walk to Tower Bridge if you're moderately active. There's a bus stop nearly in front of the hotel, you can take buses to Oxford Street and Angel. All in all, it was a pleasant stay, I would stay here again if I didn't find any other options for the same price.

When I booked the hotel I was very sceptic about this hotel because of the fact that it is a budget hotel and its area. However, I am glad I did. To start with, the breakfast although relatively cheap, it is filled with lots of healthy items and freshly baked items. The rooms are really good. Clean and nice. The staff are really nice and they are always ready to help, very well educated and well mannered. The area is really close to wherever you need to go. I come to London every year, so next time I'll come I know exactly which hotel I book.

I'd definitely recommend this hotel as the best way to save money and have a decent and pleasant stay in London. The location is quite convenient and the staff is really helpful. The rooms are comfortable, could be bigger or have a different design on the distribution so the space between wc and shower.

We booked this hotel for one night as wanted to stay near our teenagers who were staying in Whitechapel. We checked in around 10pm, we had pre booked online and all was straightforward, receptionist very helpful and cheerful too. Despite a budget hotel, the room (although bijou) was very clean, cosy and comfortable, and also quiet. Loved the light changing shower! We didn't have breakfast but were surprised how busy it appeared as such low noise levels. We were really impressed with this Budget Ibis and would definitely book one again.

Handy for me, out and about in Whitechapel for the weekend. Room small but as expected. Very clean. Breakfast buffet with no cooked breakfast option. In retrospect would have booked normal Ibis. Good.
