Talk about BUDGET. No tea/coffee making facility's in room, No chest of drawers, wardrobe is a 12 inch steel bar fixed to wall with 6 hangers on it, the only thing to sit on besides the bed is an upturned plastic linen basket, if you wanted a cup of tea/coffee you would have to get one from the machine near reception costing £1.40, unfortunately net enough space to continue. Please do not use.

Room Tip: Find another hotel. Travelodge or Premier inn near Euston Station

I came to stay on a Tuesday night with a friend. We were seeing a show and wanted somewhere reasonably central to stay over. Obviously, central London hotels are expensive but I was keen to book at a chain hotel, as you know the standard of room/stay you are going to experience. This was, if I remember correctly, £71 for the night.
The hotel is a 5-8 minute walk from the hotel... and... let's be honest, if you aren't of Indian/Pakistani origin, you're going to stand out like a sore thumb, which my friend and I did. When we returned from seeing the show at 10pm-ish, in the rain, I'd have felt uncomfortable doing the walk from the tube to the hotel on my own. Particularly as there were large groups of men standing around on street corners at regular intervals. Not a single woman to be seen.

As for the hotel itself, at check-in, we were greeted very quickly and politely and check-in was a very easy process. The room itself was small, but we were expecting that for a central(ish) London hotel. What we weren't ready for was the complete lack of privacy with the bathroom! The sink was in the middle of the room. The toilet was on the other side of the flimsy-est swing door, and the shower was in the room, with just a partially frosted glass door! There was nowhere to hang a towel, or some clothes in the shower area itself, which would have meant stepping in and out butt-naked, in a very small room! Where is your travel partner meant to look?! This would have been okay for a family with small group, or a pair with a romantic attachment, but for friends-only, or business colleagues, it was wildly inappropriate. As a result, neither my friend or I showered during our 1-night stay. I guess we'd have come to some sort of arrangement if staying longer, like one taking a trip to hang out in the lobby for half an hour, but still, I've never seen anything like it!

Apart from that, I was quite content with the room. The bed was comfortable (although friend complained hers was too hard), and the bit of panelling between the heads of the two beds was appreciated for a little bit of privacy. The only other thing missing was tea/coffee making facilities! I was gagging for a coffee when I checked in, but there was nothing to be had.

I had a good night's sleep here, and the room was very quiet and peaceful. It would have been pretty faultless for some types of guest, but weirdly uncomfortable for others. Saying that, I'd probably stay here again.

This was my second time stay at ibis budget whitechapel hotel.

I had 10 night stay in Ibis Whitechapel Hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room is simple, clean and tidy but no kettle and hair-drier provided.

Fully-booked on weekend. We could not paid for early checked-in. Reception recommended us to save the luggage there and returned back after 12:30 p.m.

The hotel located at central of London (zone 1 & zone 2). Just 5-10 minutes walk to DLR or underground. There was a bus stop in front of hotel with 24 hours bus route. (Bus No: 25)

Because of the air-con eco-friendly system, the room tempature is between 25 to 30 C. Feel a little bit hot at night. The staff was very quick in responses to this issue. Feel Appreciated.

Overall stay was pleasant. Expecting the third time stay at Ibis Budget London Whitechapel Hotel.

The low-end of the Ibis chain. No free extras at all, pay for coffee, even to have bags stored after checking out (2 pnd a bag), Room was quiet. We had friends on the other side of the same floor and they said it was quiet as well. Bus out the front, Piccadilly Line train about 300m away. Reception staff not that obliging, did not know the area. Room clean. Did not have correct towels, nor did our friends.
