This is a classic London pub with great history. Location to Tower Hill Tube Station and nearby hotels makes this a real find. Nice selection of cask ales and other beers. Numbered tables makes for easy ordering at the bar. Busy with business folks at lunch, but clears out thereafter so if you are a tourist plan accordingly, or expect a crowd. Great selection of starters and main entrees. Only drawback is not being open on Saturday or Sunday so go during the week or you will miss out. Too good to miss out!

We stopped here after walking the City area for an afternoon Beer. The bar was busy with business people. The bartender helped us make an informed beer selection which we enjoyed! The location is near the DoubleTree Tower.

We like the atmosphere, the staff is great, drinks and mouth-watering food for very good value! In summer they have a terrace so you can have your drink outside. One of our favorites!

I visited The Crutched Friar on recommendation from a friend whilst visiting London. We visited to take advantage of the

The pub was busy, but not chaotic and we were served almost immediately at the bar each time. The staff were friendly and were very helpful and knowledgeable when it came to us making our cocktail decisions.

We decided part way through the visit that instead of moving on, we would stay and try out the food. I'm glad we did. I had the fish pie and it really was lovely. It was piping hot on arrival at our table (always a good sign) and obviously freshly cooked. Simply delicious.

Over all, a lovely experience and I would recommend to anyone visiting the capital.
