i've been eating at Hazara since it opened and couldn't be more impressed. The menu swings between the traditional and the innovative but whichever route you take, always impresses. unlike menu local Indian restaurants, the kitchen does not rely on 2 or 3 main sauces which it applies to all the dishes. each dish is clearly individually designed, and freshly cooked. the atmosphere/decor is more glam than normal, but that doesn't make it pompous or pretentious or annoyingly trendy. it just shows the owner cares about his restaurant. and he is always present and is a very lovely host. ps the cauliflower off the veg menu is beyond perfect.

Wonderful food. Diverse and remarkably unusual range of dishes. Eaten here a number of times and each time the food has been beautiful. Very very fine Biryani and Paratha. How lucky I am that this is my local Indian. Highly recommended. Charming owner and attentive staff.

This was the best Indian meal I have ever had; unexpected as I was just walking by on my visit to London and just wanted a quick bite!
Well done - I will beeline my way here again next time I'm in the area

Just tried hazara for the first time.

It's a great local restaurant with high standard of food, similar to standard of central london but conveniently on our doorstep.

They deliver too.

What to say? A fantastic menu, cooked superbly, and served with style.

An exceptional restaurant a nice stroll from Swiss Cottage or Belsize Park tube stations. Seek it out!
