This is a quality low budget hotel. I spent hours sourcing this hotel and was very happy with the result. The front desk was always friendly and tried to help out. The rooms were spacious (family room with parents in a double and two teenage sons in a single bed each without the room being overcrowded). It also had a very big bathroom. The breakfast was good value and tasty enough. The best thing about this hotel though was its premium central location, right next to St Paul, 2 min walk to train & tube station, and most of London's sights within walking distance. I found that booking through premier inn's own web page was cheaper than using any of the tripadvisor links

My family and I stayed at premier Blackfriars London and very close to covent garden. I must say we have stayed many times in a few different areas in a Premier Inn . We did have a problem with the room initially and immediately changed after complaining . Well recomended

Dear Guest
Thank you for the feedback on your recent stay with us at Premier Inn London Blackfriars. I am very happy to read that your complaint was dealt with immediately and that the room was changed to your requirements. We are indeed great value for family stays as the kids get free breakfast and the room is priced per room and not per occupant. I hope you and your family will choose us again on your next trip to the City.

Good central location, close to all the tourist attractions, 3 minutes walk from station, Tesco around the corner, 2 minutes from main route, yet very quite area. Breakfast good variety and not rationed. Somewhat expensive for South African Rand, but still very good value. Will come back to this hotel.

We stayed here just after Christmas and will certainly be going back in the future.
The location is fantastic with easy reach to the attractions of London.
The staff at the hotel were superb and could not have been more helpful. The room was Premier Inns usual high standard and we enjoyed a fantastic nights sleep.
We had a meal in the restaurant which was excellent.
Would highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed here between Christmas and New Year. Modern, quiet, superb location within easy walking distance to train/tube, St Pauls, Tate, Millenium Bridge. Covent Garden only a bit further. Rooms plenty big enough and fresh - I had two, one for wife and I one for three daughters (make up bed is fine for teens). We all loved the restaurant so much the kids insisted on having every meal there! One key impression is the efficiciency and friendliness of the staff. I travel internationally on business all the time - this was one of the best hotel experiences I have had and a lot of it is set by the tone of the staff. I highly recommend this hotel for many reasons but in part simply because of the staffs superb attitude. More businesses should be run like this!
