On the website, this is cited as a new hotel but not as an unfinished one!! It is in a good location, a short tube journey to all attractions & a fair walk (if you like walking). I think it will be a lovely Hotel when it is finished, but currently guests are using a side entrance whilst building continues (elaborate entrance on website is an artist's impression). Current finished section has a central spiral staircase with 7 floors and my guess is some will have lovely views...however, we were given a family room on the lower ground floor which was very cramped (no floor space between beds) with a window overlooking a wall & an abundance of Dulux paint pots..not good but luckily we were in London & spent little time in this claustrophobic space. That said, it's obviously luck of the draw & everything else had the usual stamp of Premier Inn excellence!!

Room Tip: Make sure you are not on lower ground floor

Great service, really friendly staff. The room was bigger than expected, very clean with a very comfortable bed. Virtually no noise at all. Great location for site seeing. Would definitely use again when next in Central London.

Great hotel. Great location, very quiet considering you are in central London. Really friendly and helpful staff. We were able to leave our luggage in a sevure room which helped us enjoy our last day. We will be back.

A group of us booked three rooms at this Premier Inn just prior to Christmas, I had read many positive reviews of this hotel on TripAdvisor and it did not disappoint. We arrived quite late having travelled up from the Westcountry and found that our disabled room that we had booked had been made up as a double as opposed to a twin room. We know now to call ahead in advance to request the ziplink beds to be made up accordingly (this was the first time that we have needed to book a disabled room for my elderly grandmother) but the member of staff on duty was incredibly helpful and came up within a few minutes to sort out the room. I believe that the member of staff was called 'Mohit' and I cannot speak highly enough of his customer service, he was helpful and did what we needed him to do in a polite manner and without fuss. All of the staff that we encountered were helpful, friendly and polite (as we have come to expect from the Premier Inn brand having used them a number of times at other locations).

The hotel itself is fairly new and is in very good condition as a result. The rooms were typical Premier Inn quality with everything one could want for a budget hotel, they were very well appointed with tea / coffee making facilities.

The location of the hotel itself is pretty good as well. It has a very central location and is within easy walking distance of Blackfriars station which is served by both the circle and district line. A couple of us also chose to walk back from Covent Garden as well on one evening of our stay, this took no longer than twenty minutes and was a pleasant stroll through central London. There are plenty of bars close by if you fancy a drink in the evening (including some nice ones on the South Bank of the Thames) but the bar at the hotel is also nice and open until 1am (so good for a drink having returned from a trip to the theatre quite late!).

Finally, the hotel has a great spiral staircase which is worth checking out. However, don't worry, there are also a number of lifts available to take you up and down the floors as well if you don't fancy the stairs!

We managed to secure a good deal on our three rooms which is pretty what we would expect to pay for a hotel of this type in central London. Saver rates are definitely worth trying to secure if you know when you are staying.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. Thanks for a great stay.

This is a quality low budget hotel. I spent hours sourcing this hotel and was very happy with the result. The front desk was always friendly and tried to help out. The rooms were spacious (family room with parents in a double and two teenage sons in a single bed each without the room being overcrowded). It also had a very big bathroom. The breakfast was good value and tasty enough. The best thing about this hotel though was its premium central location, right next to St Paul, 2 min walk to train & tube station, and most of London's sights within walking distance. I found that booking through premier inn's own web page was cheaper than using any of the tripadvisor links
