“Good Hotel .. bad booking experience??”
Reviewed 9 June 2014

Booked this hotel over a month ago , made a mistake and double booked it ,called the hotel as I had given my card details I was told by hotel staff that they would cancel one booking and no money would be taken from my account till I was at the hotel, that was 3 weeks ago. I checked my account 4 days before departure, only to find they had withdrawn 2 payments for both bookings!, so I called hotel and they realised their mistake and refunded 1 payment, that was the only negative as hotel was very good , staff were pleasant , room was very clean and breakfast was plentiful and good choice. Hotel Ideally situated for Central London 15 minutes bus ride to Trafalgar / Piccadilly and 5 minutes walk from \hotel is St Pauls Cathedral ( Worth a visit). 3/4 local pubs within walking distance of hotel .

the service was great,we choose to stay here as near to the theatres, and close to tube stations, we had a lovely time, all staff were friendly and helpful. we pre booked the breakfast and evening meal on booking our room so that was really good value for money.

Very good hotel in a good location being so close to St Pauls and Blackfriars tube station. Room very clean and nice enough room. Only two slight things let the place down for me compared to other Premier Inns. One the room had a shower when a bath would have been great and there was space for it. The second was the breakfast which was all kept warm on hot plates whereas its usually freshly cooked .

This hotel does exactly what it says on the tin. A great location and near to many attractions. I usually stay at more expensive hotels and used Premier for the first time as most places were full and it was a short-notice booking - i will be back. Clean rooms and very friendly staff from cleaners to reception. Stay and you won't be disappointed.

Yet again Premier Inn excelled itself! I booked in online and we were in our room within 5 mins of arriving! Fresh, clean, home from home. These are all the reasons I only use Premier Inns. The Blackfriars Inn is in a really good location for the city. I will certainly be returning. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Go for it!

I stayed at Premier Inn London Blackfriars for several days and had a fantastic experience. The staff were all very friendly, and the room was extremely clean. The Premier at Blackfriars is in a pretty good location, right near the Blackfriar underground, and it's very easy to get to from all of the airports. There are also many sights and restaurants nearby (within a 30 minute or less walk), which was great. Since it's in the City of London, it is situated near many offices/businesses, so the area is very quiet during the weekend (some restaurants are also closed). I would definitely stay here again, and recommend it to anyone who is looking for a comfortable, clean, affordable hotel.

We stayed at Premier Inn Blackfriars for 2 nights before a cruise in May. The hotel was clean and our bed was very comfortable. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located very close to the Blackfriars tube station so it was easy to get around London.
