I spent a whole month with Barbro and Duncan and truly enjoyed every single moment of my staying. The location is amazing, one of the safest and most quite areas of London, just 5 minutes walking from the Tube or the train. The house is lovely and the room is perfect, with a big comfortable bed, TV, wardrobe and a big separate private bathroom with bath/shower. Both spaces are very clean as they have a cleaning lady coming once a week.
The breakfast is amazing (you don't almost need to have lunch after that!), with bread/marmalate, yogourt, cereals, fruits, eggs, tomatoes... They both are excellent cookers and really enjoy it.
They are also very helpfull and ready to suggest you the best places ever to visit, ect..
I left London with the feeling of leaving part of my family, and I will come back to visit them as soon as I can!

Barbro and Duncan are exceptional hosts and can recommend all sorts of fun activities around London. Start off each day with a delicious breakfast in the cozy kitchen area facing the garden. The house is conveniently located near the tube, a park, farmer's market, and a number of restaurants and shops.

Uniquely situated steps away from Queen's Park, Keslake Towers was an ideal place to stay for me as I recently moved from the United States. In close proximity to easy transportation into the city, the surrounding area is filled with nice shops, restaurants, and bars, including the celeb-hang out, Paradise. The hosts were warm and friendly but gave me a very quiet and secluded room I could get work done from in private(good internet). Overall I was very happy and would be glad to return.

I have now stayed twice with Keslake Towers and had a really lovely time. The location is central with easy transport options to get into central London, the room was very comfortable and Duncan and Barbro are great fun to stay with.

They couldn't have been more helpful, are knowledgeable about the area, what to see and do and breakfast was fabulous. One trip business (August), one trip leisure/family (September) - highly recommended!

Lovely place to stay and the best hosts, we didn't need to open a guide book, Duncan and Barbro are so full of knowledge. The house is great, slightly bohemian and very cosy. Our best memories are of the long, leisurely breakfasts in the light filled kitchen dining room, with the door open and the birds singing in the garden. The room and bed were comfy and the bathroom (next to the bedroom but not ensuite) was modern, roomy and light. I hadn't heard of the area before but will be back - so near Portobello Road and the transport links to the museums and theatres were excellent. A gem.
