I dined here with my husband on a groupon voucher which entitled us both to a starter each and a main course and a glass of wine. This eatery is a Turkish/pub style restaurant. We were greeted by our waiter and seated almost straight away. We chose aubergine salad and a fresh broad bean salad for starter which were both seasoned beautifully and were very fresh and tasted great. We then ordered sirloin steak for our mains which were presented on a board with mushrooms, fresh fine green beans, pot of rather over salted gravy with parsley, but nevertheless full of flavour, and a separate serving of fries on the side served in an aluminium novelty frying pan. All tasted and cooked to perfection and nicely presented. The only downside of the meal was the fact that the sirloin had a little too much of bristle which was rather disappointing. Apart from the quality of the cut of the sirloin everything else we were served were spot on and served with speed and courtesy. I would definitely return and perhaps try something else on the menu. Their prices were reasonable. We paid with a groupon voucher which was £22 for a 2 course meal for two with a glass of wine each, but I believe they accept Tastercard which works out reasonable when you dine 2 for 1 or 50% off the food bill. Try it there, you wouldn't be disappointed, I would recommend this little dining place to all. We traveled 35 minutes to get there and it was well worth the travel.

This pub is amazing. The food, Turkish of origin is superb, the chicken livers are to die for, the beef sausage is first class and the accompanying bread is moreish.
If this app did 6 stars the Osidge Arms would get all 6.

We had trouble contacting the restaurant through the website but a visit earlier secured a booking. We eat downstairs so I don't recognise the picture which may be in another part. The Restaurant is a converted pub with plenty of room and plenty of light. The staff were very helpful and the service was quick and efficient even though they were quite busy. We had vine leaves which were a bit cold and whitebait which were unusually in batter. The main course of lamb shish was good. The meat was tasty and complimented by the rest of the dish. We did feel the portion, especially the salad was a bit on the small side. We qualified for the discount although in all honesty I think £35 for what we had withou alcohol was the right price and certainly would not have been happy paying the full price. The piped music was a bit loud but this might be a question of taste. We enjoyed the overall experience and the waiter mentioned a new menu is on the way. Reading the other reviews we may have not seen the restaurant at its best.
As I said the staff were very welcoming and there was a nice atmosphere.

Our grouip consisted of friends with teenagers. Everyone agreed the food was delicious, Souvlaki lamb and chicken, meze etc. Good value as this pub often has offers, Well worth a visit, helpful friendly staff, and walking distance for me!

Excellent food, great ambience, made even better by the 50% off deal.
We had the whitebait & calamari to start, followed by stuffed peppers & the mixed kebab.
Absolutely delicious!
