Great experience at Aladdin. We reserved a table, bit arrived and hour and a half early, the staff accommodated us no questions asked. Service was amazingly attentive. The food was delicious, high quality, and the perfect amount. We booked online and got the 20% discount. Four dishes, four garlic naans, three beers, and two cokes later our bill came to 43 pounds. We were four happy people.

We escaped from the hustle and bustle of a busy Saturday in Brick Lane to eat lunch here. They do a great deal where for £6.99 you can choose any starter, any main and any rice or vegetable side dish. There's lots of choice of different curries all doing vegetable, prawn, chicken or lamb variations, and all the curries are labelled whether they are mild, medium or hot. I had a Ceylon prawn coconut curry which although very tasty, was marked as medium hot when really it was mild, and it was the same with the other curries we chose. So overall this place is great value for money, has lots of choice and attentive staff but the negatives are incorrectly labelled spiciness and the music was intrusive, not because it was loud but just really repetitive base not relaxing at all. Also 2 of our group had a lamb tikka starter which was a bit on the chewy side.

Visited this restaurant earlier this week, had a fab meal at a very very good price, the staff were very attentive and the food was served promptly and was piping hot.
They get your beers from the local of licence and it is charged to yo at the price they pay for it which was very fair indeed. Well worth a visit and I will definitely visit again when next in London.

Brick Lane with its numerous curry restaurants all promising to serve the best but always seem to fall short of its commitment, Aladin was different. They were good. In fact the best I have had after the likes of India. It looks like your average curry house from the outside but massive inside. They have a total of 4 floors and all floors were busy on a Thursday evening. The music was a little loud for my liking but did not hamper the evening. Overall a great place with what we want the most - great food!

The standard here was pretty reasonably as they go, as it's BYOB and they also give you 20% off at local off-license (which brings it down to about average) it works out pretty reasonable. Booking through bookatable got 20% off the bill but they did conveniently forget to take this off the bill until I complained about it then they sorted it. I have a feeling this happens a lot which is cheeky, I also agree that the bill they give you is difficult to make head or tail of, not properly itemised so difficult to argue with.

Did notice they charged us for some pork chops which wasn't made clear either, without these kind of tactics would have given it an extra star as the food quality was decent enough, didn't personally find problems with portion sizes either, tandoori style meat portions are small but they always are in my experience, curry itself was fine.
