“"famous fish&chips"... not sure what for!”
Reviewed 22 November 2013

the quote in the title is according to a sign outside this pub.

bullet points:

- if this piece of fish wasn't out of a packet, i would be very surprised

- it was extremely greasy

- the chips were mediocre, and not all fully cooked

“So Cool”
Reviewed 6 September 2013

If you are looking to sit down with a pie [short crust pastry] and a pint of beer [on draught] before crossing the Millenium Bridge to The Globe...or....doing the same [apres preformance] then you're at the right place.
The atmosphere is that of an old city pub.
Thank's guys see you next year.

“Full English Breakfast - Excellent value for money!”
Reviewed 26 August 2013

Full English Breakfast is a bargain here and well worth stopping for! No frills, good basic food, only £4.95 including a pot of tea - very good value for money! This set us up for the day and our walk across the Millenium Bridge to the attractions on the South Bank. A great way to get a family with hungry teenagers off to a good start if you don't want to pay hotel breakfast prices.

Not an issue for us, but could be for others - the toilets are dark and cramped and are down a wooden spiral staircase, not sure how you would go on if you were disabled?

“Nothing to brag home about”
Reviewed 20 June 2013

I was in London for a school trip and one of our scheduled meals was here at the Centre Page. I was not impressed however. The atmosphere was loud and cramped, and we were in a dark basement which I did not care for. The fish and chips was gross. The fries were not cooked well and the fish was tasteless and too hard, and also was loaded with bones. One woman in my group had to send hers back due to the overwhelming amount of bones. Not to mention the dessert was completely inedible. I would not return here again.
