Description: A young Italian transforms old English greasy spoon into the greatest traditional Italian Trattoria in MaryleboneOwner and manager Jessica Colli a young business woman from the island of Sicily, wasn't afraid to take up the challenge to transform Blandford's Café after 40 years of very little change. Jessica loves authentic & traditional Italian food so she went on and decides to open her own Restaurant where she committed to herself to deliver nothing less. Blandford's café is now a relax diner with a festive and family atmosphere open every day from 7am till 9pm, offering the greatest variety of traditional Italian dishes ranging from home-made lasagne to eggplant parmigiana and the best crispy pizza in the area, as well as freshly cooked meat items basted with the authentic Italian seasonings. Jessica want to make sure you still get the best fresh cooked English breakfasts accompanied by traditional English breakfast tea, if you are a fan of the Italian espresso or Cappuccino the choice for the new owner was simple "Illy coffee", a brand known as the master of Italian espresso brand. A wide selection of pastries, and fresh pressed juices are available, and if you fancy all that as take away Blandford's café will organise that for you.Jessica challenges you to think that Blandford's café is not just another Italian restaurant, so please go along and she and her team will prove you wrong! The young Italian that loves what she does!

“Top genuine Italian food”

Great food and good value...will definitely be going back.

Popped in for lunch with the family and no complaints from anyone. Run by a nice family...certainly beats prezzo or strada around the corner!

“Gives breakfast a whole new meaning!”
Reviewed 27 April 2014

The breakfast was a treat, I had the focaccia with avocado, bacon and poached eggs, my husband had the Spanish eggs, both were presented exquisitely and tasted amazing. If you manage to come across this place, make sure you eat here, you will not be disappointed!

“Good value tasty Italian food. ”
Reviewed 20 April 2014 via mobile

Came upon this place just around the corner from Baker Street. It's not big, in fact quite cosy.

We ordered a very tasty caprese salad to share to start who had lovely mozzarella and good oil.

For mains we both had pasta, mine really tasty spaghetti, cooked perfectly with garlic, oil and chilli and my partner a rigatoni with aubergine and tomato.

All good food and the plates were all cleaned.

We paid £26 for 2 soft drinks, bread, salad and 2 mains which for top notch food in London is great value. Another good sign is that it was full of Italians having Sunday lunch.

Reviewed 18 April 2014

9 of us went for lunch from work on Thursday. I had auberge with parmesan. 5 stars. Very personal service and please don't tell anyone about this place. Don't expect the Ritz but imagine working man's home made food. AND BYO what value

“Excellent breakfast”

We took our breakfast there twice during a recent weekend in London. It proved to be a very good choice as the food was good and the service efficient.
