“Unfortunate...”
Reviewed 23 July 2014

On approach this looked like a fabulous place to eat, just what we were looking for. The waitresses were smiling, the food being served look delicious and the atmospher as relaxing.... The BIG BUT... we were sat at a table for 4 outside when there was only two of us, this we did not have any issue with and were rather pleased, the three other tables of two were situated more inside than out and would of been too hot (due to the weather). However, we hadn't even sat down when another waitress came over to tell us in a friendly manor, I must add, that if they get busy or a table of four arrive we would be asked to move. We asked her to clarify if this would be before we were served dinner and she clearly stated at any time, maybe whilst eating! She did also explain that it probably will not get too busy, however, we did not want to take the risk and as we were after a relaxing meal we decided to leave. It is a shame for us as the food looked good, yet a shame for them as they lost custom....

“Always a warm welcome, freshly prepared delicious food.”
Reviewed 6 July 2014

Couldn't resist calling into our favourite Italian in Covent Garden. There is always a warm welcome from the staff - We chose Pollo Milanese and Mario's Pizza. Olives on the side, a bottle of San Pelligrino and off you go. Delicious.
Not sure what went wrong with the chap who usually eats at Iceland, (reviewed yesterday) as we visited on the same day. What a contrast.

“Worst italian cafe possibly in the whole of London.”
Reviewed 5 July 2014

When the coffee is dire, it says alot about an Italian eatery. The pizzas are the worse I've had in a long time - and that was from Iceland. The four seasons pizza should have been called no seasons as there was very little filling on it. There were some tinned peas on it though which I must say was a pizza first for me. The aubergine rolls are also worth a try - a bit like swallowing whale blubber in long life bread. This place is truly awful. stay away. There is more grave than gravy About this place!

“Great Pizza, Great Atmosphere, Great Service.”
Reviewed 20 May 2014

We just happened upon this restaurant in Covent Graden on the way back to the Tube from being tourists for the day.
We had lovely pizzas sitting outside on a balmy London evening. The staff were charming and attentive, the pizzas were delicious, and the bill very reasonable.

“Authentic Italian in Covent Garden”
Reviewed 4 May 2014

A typical italian restaurant (you could be in Italy) Basic, simple fresh food served in their own style.
Well worth a visit if you're in Covent Garden.
A few tables at the front give you a street-side feel, (great on a warm day) plus they have a seated area inside.
Tasty and fair portions. Generous bowl of olives, not the '8 on a plate' found in some italian chain restaurants.
The staff are running around with expression and passion.
Pizza's are freshly prepared by the chap in the photo - who is also crazy !
They are bothered about your visit.
I'd eat there again and again. I'm pretty fussy.

buon appetito !
