Cheap, best wedges in London and good service. Popped up during a walk through church street and I will certainly be visiting again.

Acoustic Brasserie is located opposite Newington Green. It’s a family run Brasserie with a rustic décor. The Brasserie was generally busy, and a nice spot when the sun’s shining. There’s plenty of seating with 17 tables inside and outside. When I asked for the menu, I felt the waiter was disappointed I didn’t want to see the breakfast menu. So I requested one and ordered the Vegan Feast (sweet & savoury vegetables, avocado, marinated char-grill peppers, courgettes, rustic tomatoes, oven roasted rooted vegetables, sun dried tomatoes and pepper paste, apricots, raisins, seeds & sourdough bread) for £9.50. It felt like a long wait for the food at 25-30 minutes but good service and plenty of tap water to keep you cool. The food was very tasty and will order the dish again.

Cons were the toilet area needs somewhere to hang a bag and redesigning as limited space. The Ikea glasses need replacing as they looked very worn.

Tasteless food, very disappointed. A dish that was served cold was represented on the same plate after being microwaved in the kitchen. We Mentioned to staff we weren’t happy and received a very hostile goodbye. Avoid!!!

Stoped to have an early evening G&T with a friend and was surprised to have our drinks with plastic straws. When we asked why they were using plastic straws that are environmentally damaging, completely unnecessary and in our case unasked for the waiter looked at us blankly. When we asked if they had plans to stop using them, we were told sniffily 'people like them' .
Well we don't and wont be going back.

It is always buzzing during the weekend for a very good reason: it has an awesome brunch! With some luck you may have a table outside with the good weather.
