One-night stop for a business meeting. Left standing outside the door for an eternity when arriving late: no signage, indication or real apology. Room very noisy and a poor night of sleep. Price was acceptable but overall disappointing.

Rooms modern & clean, very small reception but booking in was efficient.Lots of restaurants, pubs & fast food outlets within a few minutes walk. Train station opposite. Convenient for South or even central London & Gatwick airport. The Cafe Ole is next to Travelodge. Breakfast at £6:50 including orange juice, toast, coffee & a big fried breakfast was very good value. Staff were pleasant, they are a nice breakfast, snack or lunch place close to the station.

We read the recent reviews on this hotel and expected a very noisy night. We are people who like peace and quiet and hate it when other guests bang and crash about, however this was not the case at this hotel . There was quite a bit of noise from the traffic outside but if you close the window this does shut out quite a bit of noise although it is not completely quiet.

We were given a very large room with a lovely comfy bed with 4 pillows. It was a bit warm in the room as we had to keep the windows closed. The bathroom actually had a bath in it not just a shower.

This hotel is ideal for those wanting a night or two in London. It is just a couple of minutes walk from Clapham Junction with trains to Victoria and Waterloo every few minutes, just a few minutes train ride away. There are also bus stops right outside.

This hotel does not have its own breakfast room but there are many places to eat and drink nearby.

We found the hotel itself very quiet. When we have stayed at other Travelodges there always seem to be other guests staying in the room above ours sounding as though they have big heavy boots on clumping around their rooms but we did not hear anything from other rooms at all which was very pleasing.

The receptionists are very pleasant and helpful.

I would highly recommend this hotel.

Great location from the train station but also bad as it was very noisey all through the night which made it hard to sleep. Central to everything 5 min walk to jacks cafe with an amazing breakfast. Only thing really to complain about is the fact they had no air con the room which was soo warm. Window only opens a little bit.

The Travelodge Falcon Road Clapham Junction is our first choice in London for business and leisure. We visit several times a year from New Zealand, and the location right beside Clapham Junction train station plus many useful bus routes is ideal. The staff are outstanding, helpful and pleasant. Leon, the manager, is just a joy to deal with. Nothing is too much trouble. There is an excellent cafe next door, open early to late, good coffee and breakfast hangout. All in all, this hotel is unbeatable value in London.

Close to convenient Clapham Junction station - this area is a good place to stay as there are plenty of shops and bars and restaurants nearby. It is only a few minutes on the overground trains to Victoria. There are plenty of options for snacks like a local Sainsburys and M&S. The hotel is only a few hundred meters from the Station. Reception is often closed so you need to buzz to get in or use your swipe card. Reception is a purely transactional space with no lounge or any comforts - fits with the no-frills budget concept. Reception was quick and efficient. Hotel security is great needing the swipe card to get past reception. My room (410) was very clean - spotless actually. It appeared to be newly renovated. Everything worked. Hot water and good pressure in the shower.
This is a budget option so there are no comforts in the room such as a phone, hair drier or iron - though these are available if you need. Tea and coffee making facilities are available in the room.
There is no Air conditioning but there is a heater. I found leaving the window open kept it cool at night, but it can get a little noisy outside - there is a restaurant/bar next door. Bathrooms are small but functional.
I had 4 fluffy pillows which was nice.
I recommend this place - especially since you will be spending most of your time outside seeing London.

Room Tip: Rooms off the main road if you are a light sleeper. The hotel itself is very quiet, it is just when...

Newish hotel in the same mould as other travelodges, but this is not a bad thing, it is modern ,clean and excellent value for money. Rooms on the railway side can be noisy but they do have stunning views of the city of london. Its biggest asset is its location, clapham junction railway station is very close by, lots of buses stop right outside going toward the city or anywhere else you might want to go and lots of shops round the corner in the local high street.

Room Tip: The higher the better! if you want views go for the station side but this also means more noise from...
