This hotel location is just ok, but it is very close to the tube stop. At the end of the day you know what to expect from a Travelodge- no frills, with a relatively clean and modern room but cheap décor. The stay was worth what we paid for it, and you don't visit London to spend time in your bedroom. We did have to move rooms as our sink was blocked- the receptionist was pleasant enough about it, but could have been more helpful and attentive (she was glued to her smartphone when trying to deal with me). There are plenty of options in London, so overall probably wouldn't stay again, but certainly not a bad place to stay on a limited budget.

Very friendly and helpful staff, the room was clean and the hotel was very quiet, even though it was next to a mainline railway. Close proximity to Bethnal Green underground made getting around London very easy. Would thoroughly recommend for anyone who wants a very cheap but high standard of hotel for their money. Will definitely be staying again on our next trip

Room Tip: Our room was on the 4th floor, very quiet, even with it being close to a train line

Stayed here for 2 nights with my wife. Advantages are that it is close to Tube station and you can get a bus directly to the shopping centre at Stratford. The hotel is basic but at least clean and quiet. Convenient to sleep in and get the tube to central London but the area of the hotel is not something to write home about. Ok for a brief stay and price is not that exhorbitant.

Room Tip: Ask for higher floors to avoid noise coming from the roads.

My friend and I stayed here for two days- we wanted something really basic as we would be away exploring the city for most part of the day and needed a place just to sleep. Travelodge is very close to the tube station which is a big advantage. Adding to it, Brick Lane is very close by, which offers a lot of decent options for food. All in all, a good place for friends to stay. Families might expect a lot more than what the lodge offers.

I stayed at this hotel for one night with my best friend because we were in London to see Taylor Swift (and The Vamps and Ed Sheeran) perform at the O2 so needed somewhere to stay. We were searching for ages to find a hotel that was cheap and relatively close to a tube station but they were all so expensive due to there being a concert at the O2! Eventually we came across this hotel and payed £45 for the both of us! PLUS it was only a 2 minute walk to the Bethnal Green tube station!

Between the hotel and the tube station was a Sainsbury's and a Pizza Hut delivery which were very convenient! And about a 5 minute walk to the town there was a McDonalds and Subway! So we were happy!

The hotel itself was very nice! Room was very clean and fresh, on the first floor, and we got a good nights sleep!

The only two downsides were that there was no mini bottles of shampoo, conditioner, or shower gel in the hotel room which was very annoying! So make sure you bring your own! Plus you had to go to reception to get a hairdryer which you were only allowed for 2 hours. The hairdryers were all ones that had been left behind by people so some didn't work, and one we got given didn't even have the right plug! We asked for one in the evening but didn't bother in the end so took it back and went to get one in the morning when we really needed one but there were none left! So had to wait for a bit.

Other than that, I do recommend it, just make sure you bring shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel, and possibly a hairdryer if you want to make sure you'll definitely have one!

Room Tip: We were on the first floor and it was absolutely fine! Very quiet
