Stayed for a business trip over a Thursday evening. Room clean and comfortable, bed was SO comfortable. Had a room facing train line which was a bit noisy but got to bed fine as the bed was so comfy and slept great. Bathroom clean..no frills but for such good value can't complain. So handy for where I needed to be (near V&A childhood museum)...also VERY close to the tube station. Only spoke to one member of staff (a receptionist) but she was very friendly and welcoming. Would stay again if needed something in this area

I found the hotel spotless, quiet and convenient. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Travelodge sometimes get a bad press but when they get it right, as in this hotel, they cannot be faulted. Was attending concert at The Barbican, which is one tube stop away, so found it really convenient. Two minutes walk to Underground. My room was on the front of the hotel, overlooking Cambridge Heath Road but the noise was very low. Bathroom was spotless. Shower very good.

Room Tip: Rooms Triple glazed so minimal noise.

I stayed at this Travel lodge with my sister for the first time on 30 April paying only £42 for a twin room. We arrived at approx 11pm and was greeted by a friendly receptionist and given our key to room 113. The hotel was quiet despite being fully booked and our room was spotless with welcoming decor and comfortable beds. There was plenty of room with a king size bed at one end at twin beds at the other end. The Travel lodge was within 2 minutes walk of Bethnal Green underground and within walking distance of the Royal London Hospital. I would definitely recommend staying here and have already booked to stay again in July for 3 of us at less than £45. A real bargain,

Under five minutes from Bethnal Green tube to hotel - and handy for where I needed to be (close to the V&A Museum of Childhood). Up on the 5th floor, all nice and quiet... didn't actually realise I was on the side facing the road. Not a bad price for a Saturday night, even better for the Sunday. Good access to central London too.

Picked this hotel because of previous good reviews on Tripadvisor. Was a bit disappointed when we arrived. Entrance off side street that looked a bit dubious. We'd been struggling to book breakfast online but staff member seemed reluctant to help and totally disinterested in any kind of service. Check in not til 3pm so we left our bags and went to explore.

Great location for tubes and buses - into the centre and out to Stratford.

On return there had been a change over of staff and the new lot could not be more helpful. Lovely people.

Eventually in our rooms and very impressed - a double and a family room. The family room was a particularly good size, with a bath not just a shower cubicle. Both rooms basic but clean and comfy. Despite being on front road, the noise from outside was minimal. Probably could have done with extra towels (only one hand and one bath towel for the 2 of us), but didn't get chance to ask housekeeping so I don't know if they would have supplied more. Borrowed hair dryer from reception, no probs.

In the end, the breakfast problem was resolved: we discovered the amazing Nico's, just at the side of the tube station. Definitely recommended.

Check out was 12pm so I guess it explains the late check in. We were able to leave our bags and pop across to the V&A Childhood museum across the road. Somewhere I would never have known about had we not stayed in Bethnal Green.

We booked well in advance and got brilliant rates. I'd be more than happy to stay there again (and a special thanks to the afternoon/evening staff).

Room Tip: Might be worth trying for a family room for the extra space. Maybe ask for a extra towel?

Stayed here as it was convenient for theatre at the West End. 15 minutes on Central line from nearby. Modern, clean, pre-booked so got a good rate for a London stay (£53). Tube strike day after we arrived but No.8 bus useful to us when we left. Museum of Childhood a 5 minute walk from Travel Lodge. Also walked to Brick Lane and Spitalfields market as we'd never stayed this side of London before. Pre-booked breakfast very good, wide range of food. 24 hour bar & a good menu for other meals though we did not eat there other than breakfast. ALL staff very friendly & helpful. Certainly will stay here again.
