One of the worst restaurant/pub experience in my 5 years in London.
You have to pay immediately when you order something to eat or drink. And if I am not happy with what I ate? Can I ask a refund? In a serious restaurant you pay when you leave and if you are satisfied with the food you ate.
After 1 hour and 15 mins I was sitting on the table outside waiting for my 2 hamburgers I ordered/payed I went to ask for how long I still had to wait. The answer of one of the guys was really rude and careless. Why didn't you just tell me that I had to wait so long? At least I had a choice to leave or stay.... But it was my choice...!
You took the money and it was the most important thing... Who cares about the customers!
I know that sometimes job can be really stresfull (I work in hospital and I know that when you have to speak and interact with so many people is really hard). But you are giving a service that some other people payed and it is your job to care about your customers.
I left immediately after his answer and I lost my money (26 pounds for two beers and 2 hamburgers.... A bit expensive in my opinion considering how they work and what kind of service you receive).
If he apologised to me giving a polite answer, I assure you I was happy to buy other two beers and wait.
