The pastries are soooo good and fresh, and the coffee is delicious. It was reasonably priced for London. Went to the outlets on Fleet St. and outside St. Paul's Cathedral.

Stopped by for a snack. Shared a baguette, cake and tea between 2 as portions large. Cakes very tasty. If difficulty eating/chewing food avoid the baguettes very hard/chewy! £10.65 for the lot. Only one unisex toilet so always a queue

Recently made a stop at Paul at Paternoster square and enjoyed a coffee and cake stop here. This is a very well located Paul with alfresco seating area and great views of the cathedral.

During this visit, we tried a latte, chai latte and lemonade. The chai latte was just ok, the latte fine and the lemonade pretty good. We also had a frangipani cake that was pretty good. Prices were reasonable and outdoor seating area great.

In the end, the drink and food was good but not special, it was the location and views that would bring us back to this Paul.

We had an early lunch here before visiting St. Paul's Cathedral. We all had a tasty, thick, split pea soup (not quite hot enough for my taste, however, and butter would have been nice with the bread) followed by a variety of ciabatta sandwiches. All our party found the meal just right for a soup/sandwich lunch. The interior was lovely with an interesting gallery upstairs, exposed beams and what looked like very old wooden furniture. What really made this cafe exceptional, though, was the staff who were all delightful. It makes such a difference to the overall atmosphere of a place if the staff are pleasant and accommodating. Well done!

We ate upstairs one Sunday about 4.00 - very cramped and tables not at all clean. Coffee was good as were the cakes - just a tad disappointed in the cleanliness.
