“Best Roast in Putney”
Reviewed 20 January 2014

Came here for lunch on Sunday and was really impressed. Service was impeccable, food arrived in a timely manner and lovely atmosphere in the restaurant. The roast is by far the best in Putney which can have some very underwhelming offerings at very high prices. The portions were very generous but not overwhelmingly so. I had the chicken as did others at the table. Full of flavour, moist, and came with a lovely selection of veg with it. The beef i'm told was also superb.

Too full for dessert but some lovely selections. Great deal for the Roast. £13 and a free wine or soft drink. i will definitely be back! I would recommend this place in a heartbeat. take a wander down Putney Bridge Road and take a chance on it. you won't be disappointed!

“Outstanding service and great quality meat”
Reviewed 3 January 2014

The service was impeccable; the menu was wide ranging for an Argentine restaurant and the beef was cooked perfectly. We had the gaucho and I would recommend the topside (pecanha) as it was seasoned very well.

Shame I couldn't enjoy some of the wide selection of red as I'm off the booze for January.

Glad to have found this gem.

“A little taste of Argentina”

In summary, a good selection of Malbec, top steak, and good service. All capped off with a environment that is conducive to good chat and people watching.

“Great Steak at a reasonable price”
Reviewed 16 October 2013

This is not just a steakhouse, with a number of other fantastic options on the menu, however the steak was a fantastic choice. We had the 700g steak sampler which consisted of delicious cuts of fillet, ribeye, sirloin and rump, it's called the 4 Gaucho's and it certainly gives the former mentioned a run for it's money. The prices were significantly less than what you would pay at Gaucho and the quality of the meat just as good if not better. The atmosphere was great and decoration very well appointed. I will definitely be back. Thanks
