The Duchess Theatre is, to say the least, a little cramped but this did not detract from the show which we thoroughly enjoyed and was hilarious. Would recommend if you're in the mood for a giggle

We were looking for something a little different to watch on the west end. After a little research we thought this looked hilarious and worth a try. After a lovely lunch, we headed over and it was an afternoon of giggles and deeply a deeply engaged staff. The second half was a little over the top and not as enjoyable as the first, but I would definitely recommend it for a laugh.

The play that went wrong is a slap stick extravaganza par excellence. It is staged in a classic theatre which unfortunately lacks air conditioning in an increasingly warmer London. Concessions are a little crowded at half time but everyone got served and made it to the bathroom as necessary so they're adequate. Highly recommend the play and also the theatre in cooler weather.

OK, so, I don't know if "sweated" is actually a word, but, after really pouring over what play to go see in the Theater District I think we chose the right one.

"The Play That Goes Wrong" is hilarious. Think Marx Brothers & Monty Python. Be advised you don't really know when the play starts and ends.

Unfortunately, as an old theater and with London experiencing one its hottest summers on record, it was a little warm. The seats are little worn but not unbearable.

Also, intermission is a bit congested if you're wanting some concessions.

None of this, however, will keep me from not recommending this play!

We went to watch "the play that goes wrong". A real laugh out loud comedy. The theatre is really quite intimate. No acoustic problems! Alcoholic and soft drinks and other refreshments are available. And well placed for the restaurants of Covent Garden. Can't ask for much more really!
