We live near the Watch House and often go in when walking out dog. It is spotlessly clean (v important to me). The coffee is always top notch. The pastries are lovely. The staff are nice. When you sit outside, you look onto a cobbled street, an old church, old warehouses. It's not the most dramatic view in London, but it's my favourite.

My husband and I live nearby, and thought we would try out the newly opened cafe. We were not disappointed. Lovely fresh sandwiches, and the cakes looked amazing - we'll be going back to sample a few no doubt. Beautiful setting in the heart of Rotherhithe village, overlooking the church. A hidden gem, although it's a shame they don't do the pancakes anymore :(

We live near the Watchhouse and love stopping in on the weekends. Having lived in Hamburg we appreciate the German footprint on the menu, outdoor seating, and relaxed approach to drinking and eating. A charming place located in an old school next to a garden, we are amazed by the value time and time again.

Very friendly staff, quality coffee, sandwiches and cakes and breads all on offer. Good prices too. Located in a historic place too which is cool. Hope this place survives in this location, as its a place you wouldn't know about if you didn't spot it.

We visit this cafe regularly. Every morning for our pre work coffees. Every weekend for our croissants and bread. Every week with friends for a catch up. It really is an excellent cafe. I recommend you stop by the next time you're in the area.
Stay for a crepe - they are delicious.
