They gave us misleading information and overcharged us, and refused to refund the difference. We ended up paying nearly 50% more than we should have. Spoons is great, but this particular outlet is crap. Avoid.

Modern and lacking in character, but large enough to find a table and get reasonably priced and decent enough food, and excellently priced beer. Given the central location, large size, decent prices, and long opening hours (serves food from early in the morning until 11 at night, even on Sundays), this is a useful place for meet ups. Wikipedia editors meet here fairly regularly. Child friendly and relaxed staff. Food is always served promptly, and there's no fuss. It's large enough to have different moods - so walk around until you find a space you feel comfortable with. A good number of the tables are high with high stools, for those who like that, but there's also plenty of traditionally sized tables and chairs.

There's nothing special about the place, so this isn't somewhere you'd make a special trip to come to, nor where you'd plan to have a special meal - but for somewhere convenient, cheap, and decent when you're in Holborn or Bloomsbury. this hits the spot.

Real London style Wetherspoons, great atmosphere, had a good time and I only went in for a quick drink.

Excellent choice of beers & the usual menu on offer. Food well presented and hot. The decor strangely does not seem to age. Unfortunately the breaded fish is off the menu now that was always a Friday favourite.

This, like a lot of Wetherspoons pubs, is a large place. It is ideal for the occasions that me and my colleagues want it for, to meet and relax, after a long day in the office. It's not contemporary but it has a long bar and plenty of great staff with a fine and wide selection of beers, lagers and ales. The food is middle of the road and fine for pub grub.
