I use Groupon to try new restaurants and so made the trip into Bayswater (with sister and son in tow) but it really wasn't worth the effort. There is zero atmosphere, indifferent service and while there is plenty of food, it is pretty bland (I resorted to adding the dried chillis in oil to everything. The strangest things were the 'dim sum' which looked like smooth semi spheres made of polystyrene - apparently they tasted as such. Deserts of ice cream, tinned fruit, haribos, crunchy melon or little cakes - no toffee apples! Drinks were reasonably priced at about £3.50 for a beer or glass of wine. Such a shame as they have everything in place so just need to make it somewhere that people enjoy visiting. OK if in the area and need to fill up but otherwise go to one of the real Chinese restaurants in the area.
