“Bond in Motion - great fun!”

An easy-to-manage, quick stop in Covent Garden at the London Film Museum. This is an exhibition of cars and other vehicles used during the filming of all the Bond movies – the original vehicles. I especially loved the storyboard exhibits on the top floor, which give a fascinating insight into the scene-by-scene planning and preparation for filming, and the amazing role that artists play in bringing a screenplay to life.

“ok but not very big exhibition”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 April 2014

Booked as we are both great JB fans and whilst we have seen some of the exhibits in other places this had some very rare ones. Not that cheap so for a family bit expensive for what is only a max hour visit but can take lots of photos with some cars /exhibits you may never see again

“James Bond”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 April 2014

Has to be one of the best exhibits I've seen in London. But then I'm a Bon fan. The exhibit is all about his cars, boats, cycles, submarines and air transport. It was first rate. Do it!

A brilliant exhibition of all things James Bond and motion, including the fantastic DB5. A must do for any Bond fan. A real treat as its next to Covent Garden as well. Somehow they have told how they did the stunts but not lost the magic.

“A must see for all fans despite the cost”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 April 2014

My travelling companion rate sthis as excellent, but for me it wa sonly average. The difference is how much you like cars, gadgets and Bond! My partner loves all of those, while I enjoy 007 but find the vehicles and technology less interesting! Hence, a very good rating is a compromise between the two!

The collection itself was more extensive than I was expecting. There was a wide range of exhibits, including the famous gyrocopter, motorcycles and props, which were more interesting to me than some of the battered old cars from the films. I was delighted to find some underwater craft on display too!

That said, who can resist taking a look at some of the iconic cars like Goldfinger's Rolls Royce? Certainly not us! We thought it was good that there were film clips next to each of the displays which showed how the cars appeared on screen. I thought this was very helpful for people like myself who do not have an encyclopaedic knowledge of the films themselves.

As has already bene mentioned, it is expensive to get in. But then, this is an unmissable chance to see some of the most iconic props of British cinema in central London, and, judging by the crowds, people are not being put off by the cost.

We enjoyed the visit and would recommend to anyone with even a passing interest in Mr Bond and his adventures.
