“Photo op”
Reviewed 27 August 2014

What a fantastic idea to have the photo area and allowing us to take our own photos. Although we bought one of the photos taken I was able to take as many myself as I wanted. Worth the wait in line.

“Fun, Long line, free!”
Reviewed 27 August 2014

So this is a free attraction, and you can take pictures with your own camera. The crew helps you take pictures and gives you the props to use. The line takes about an hour before it's your turn. Definitely worth the cool picture you get though! plus, the train station is pretty cool.

“Making full use of the franchise blessing”
Reviewed 26 August 2014

I could not believe the size of the queue just to get a picture taken with half a luggage trolley!
The film franchise blessed this area and people of the globe are flocking to King Cross to see it, fair play to them.

“super long queue”
Reviewed 25 August 2014

Honestly, it was a joke. In order to take a pic you have to wait in a long queue. The staff takes pics very slowly and I'd have to wait for at least an hour. Everyone should be able to take their own photos without the staff. It would be much faster and there would be no queues. I love HP and I was deeply disappointed with platform 9 3/4.

“Fun time”
Reviewed 23 August 2014

The shop was small but had lots of fun souvenirs like mugs, postcards, wands, etc. A few feet from the shop, there was the made-up 9-3/4 platform where you could take a picture. We waited in line for that somewhere between half an hour to an hour but even then it was an enjoyable experience. The staff fed us special Harry Potter jellybeans (my friend got booger flavored!), answered any questions we had, and let us borrow scarves (4 different scarves for the 4 different houses), wands, glasses and we could even use our own camera to take the picture so they don't pressure us to buy a picture. The staff fluffs the scarf right before we take the picture so that it looks like we're flying. It was fun!
