“Great Place to Eat Before Attending the Lion Kin”
Reviewed 30 June 2014

My daughter and I had dinner at Bill's before we attended the Lion King. It is located right next door to the theater. They offer a special menu for theater goers. The food was very good and the service was excellent. We were able to be seated right away although it did seem to get busier as the time got later. The atmosphere is upbeat and fun, the food is good. I would go back again!

“Good value in an expensive tourist trap”
Reviewed 29 June 2014

Our party went to bills after Charlie and the chocolate factory and it's only a five minute walk away . We had booked and were pleased as Covent garden was heaving as was to be expected early on a Saturday evening .
The menu had a good variety of dishes and the house wine was very drinkable . The food was pleasant everyone enjoying what they ordered and I can recommend the cheese plate to finish off .
Staff were very nice but the music was quite loud so they found it hard to hear but all in all a good meal and not a huge bill for what we had .
We would go again .

“Poor Food and Poor Customer Service”
Reviewed 25 June 2014

I can't believe this restaurant is getting such great reviews - we ate there a few months ago - and my partner was sick afterwards. tried to follow-up with Bills manager - meaningless response. Would not go back there are too many good restaurants in London to waste time and energy on this place.

“Nice find......”
Reviewed 16 June 2014

Visited Bill's on the off-chance before going to the theatre as we hadn't booked anywhere & glad we did, made a good choice.

I think there are quite a few of them around but I'd never heard of them before but I certainly will be eating there again. Perfect choice for eating with the family as we are tired of the usual haunts of TGI's etc. Bill's ticked all of the boxes with a really varied menu to suit most tastes.

We were a family of four & had two course each, some flat bread & hummus to start along with lemonade, chocolate milk-shake & three proseccos £121 not bad value for a really good meal in London.

The staff were really friendly & helpful & we loved the ambience of the restaurant, it was quite quirky in design but best of all was the background music, it was like a step back into the eighties & lots of cover versions of songs sung in the style of the Mexican Doritos guys :)

A great night out & we shall be returning.

“If only the service matched the food ...”
Reviewed 15 June 2014 via mobile

Went to Bills pre theatre. Luckily we were not in a rush as the service was not great. Waited 25 minutes to get a drink and to order. However , once the food began the service was good , although had to chase drinks twice. Food is good. Duck pie and fish pie are excellent and packed full of duck / fish. For location not too pricey. Kids menu looks good although didn't try it in the end. Overall good , but would worry if I was in a rush.
