The Lexi is way off the beaten track, not easily accessible by Tube and hardly more so by bus, but in our experience it's the best cinema experience in London. Firstly it's independent, so no multiplex blockbusters. Secondly, a diverse and electic choice of film - British, European and international. Thirdly, the most cosy and comfortable seating of any cinema that we have visited in the UK. Fourth, the friendly and passionate people running the place - all of them volunteers. Fifth, great home-made pastries, healthy drinks and ice creams. Sixth, cheap seats on Mondays (GBP 5). Seventh, you can join the Lexi Club and get a discount card ... it pays for itself in one visit.
