My partner and I stayed here with my parents. Our room was a good size, well appointed, and had a comfy bed and great shower. My parents’ room was smaller, but equally well appointed. Given that you’re in London, and will be out and about taking in the sights from dawn until dusk, how big does the room need to be? We were all up on higher levels and found it to be quiet, in spite of the party atmosphere of the neighbourhood at night.
I cannot speak highly enough about the quality of the service. The women we dealt with at the front desk were friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating, and the rooms were well kept by housekeeping.
The location has its advantages and disadvantages. On the plus side, you are in an area with a plethora of good restaurants offering a broad range of dining options. You are also very close to two tube stations, theatres, the National Gallery, the National Portrait Gallery, and Trafalgar Square. The down side, for quieter folks, is the atmosphere on the streets in the evenings. This is party central and the streets are filled with revelers every night.More
