Ate here on saturday night with the groupon voucher. Arrived at booked time & was seated promply, we received out 2 glasses of procecco & ordered a bottle of water.
Perused the menu & ordered 1 being a gluten free eater was not a problem.
Starter & dinner was really good, coffee was included also, had a whiskey to finish off but on the final bill i was charged for a double, thats my only gripe about the place, it was quite busy there & we had the 19.00 booking time.
Would eat there again if i was in london
Great value for £27

“Truly appalling. Save your money and go elsewhere.”
Reviewed 19 August 2013

Truly the worst restaurant we've visited in a long time. Arriving with a groupon voucher for two courses for two, with a glass of prosecco, for £27, we were hoping for the best.
We gave the voucher code when booking a table, yet were asked for it on 3 different occasions from the staff when we arrived. After waiting 35 minutes for our glass of prosecco, we ordered a caraf of red wine, which arrived instantly. After another 20 minutes we received our warm, tasteless 'garlic' bread, followed by chicken pollo pasta, which was over-cooked and bland, with chunks of gristly chicken in it. In total we spend 2.5 hours in the restaurant, mainly waiting to be served; we left feeling cheated of the £4.50 'service' charge we were forced to give for our caraf of wine and truly appalling service. Definately one to avoid. The couple at the next table were also of the same opinion.

“Hidden gem, excellent food and service”
Reviewed 18 August 2013 via mobile

We ate here last friday night and werre very impressed. The staff were friendly and attentive but not pushy. The food was delicious and fresh. The only negative part was the desert. We ordered profiteroles and the dough was chewy and not the light and fluffy texture we were expecting. The rest of the meal was wonderful. Will definitely eat here again and strongly recommend.

“Totally agree with LivingLondon”
Reviewed 17 August 2013

Living in Shad Thames we eagerly awaited the opening of this place - Xmas 2012 passed, then Easter - it finally arrived.
Owned we were told by the proprietor of Bordello in Wapping - so the portents were good.
The previous reviewer was spot on - in his description and report and advice as to alternatives
No idea what it is like at lunchtime but invariably in the evening it seems all but deserted. they have applied for a music licence - whether that will help ?But the neighbours must be pleased
Given when we went there were only 3 other groups the man in charge made no effort, the waiter was clueless, the fastest thing was the arrival of the bill and the food - no more than below par
