We booked this hotel for one night in order to catch an early Eurostar train the following morning. It's only a few minutes walk to St Pancras station and there are a reasonable choice of places to eat in the area. The hotel room was clean and good value for money. There are numerous hotels in the area but the Angus was an excellent find.

So is you want to sleep cheap in London we all know it's not going to be a big room and the Angus lived up to the theory. Having said that our room had a large bed which was very comfortable, which you had to lie on if you wanted to watch TV. It also had a tea/coffee making facilities and separate shower/ toilet which were minimalist but satisfactory and the whole room was clean.
Road works starting at 07.00, and a TV that didn't work were the only minor issues, the first not the hotels fault and the second would have been fixed by the pleasant chap at reception but we didn't bother.
The room did everything we needed at a sensible price(for London !) and because it is so close to Euston, Kings Cross and St.Pancras I would use the hotel again.

We chose this hotel for the easy access to Kings Cross and St Pancras railway station.
The staff are incredibly helpful and obliging. This was once a private Victorian residence so there are lots of narrow stairs to negotiate but the staff readily offered to carry our bags up and again down on departure. The room was sunny, airy, extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. Yes, it is small with not too much room to move but if you need a quiet, clean, comfy room in a great, safe location then this is the one.

Room tip: Opt for a lower floor to avoid the stairs as there is no lift. Book for twin beds even if you are a couple as it gives you more room.

The room was very small but totally functional and clean. The bed was nice and comfortable. The bathroom while again being very clean was tiny and it was difficult to sit on the toilet without bumping into the sink!! All in all fine for an overnight stay and very near to Kings Cross or St Pancras Stations.

The hotel is only a short walk from Kings Cross/St Pancras stations but is in a very quiet residential square. The hotel is spotlessly clean with modern furniture and comfortable beds. The bathroom is tiny but has everything in there that you need.
No breakfast but there are cafes quite close.
The staff (a young man on reception at check in and a young woman at check out) were both very friendly and helpful, giving useful information and offering to help with anything.
The room has tea/coffee/kettle.

Room tip: room 306 was very quiet
