“Classy, intimate venue and excellent cabaret”
Reviewed 15 July 2014

We went to see Mychelle Colleary sing after having dinner at Brasserie Zedel. The venue has a lovely, intimate art deco atmosphere and Mychelle Colleary was superb. Definitely worth a visit!

“Miss Hope Springs departs but Crazy Coqs continues to enliven the London cabaret scene”
Reviewed 1 May 2014

Crazy Coqs is by far the most sophisticated and charming cabaret venue in the west end and has a full program of great talent from around the world, very night of the week, including some of the very best and most famous international artists. Don’t miss the opportunity to sip a glass of fizz in opulent 30’s surroundings, whilst being serenaded by some of the most talented artists available.

Last Sunday marked the end of two years of the most excellent cabaret on Sunday nights; Miss Hope Springs makes a dramatic exit from the wonderful Crazy Coqs cabaret room at Brasserie Zedel. I know that all her fans will be devastated to learn that she has moved on to pastures new and greater things and will welcome her back with open arms, should she deign to return.

If you are planning a trip to the Edinburgh Festival, don’t miss the act which the Musical Theatre Review described as 'One of the most important cabaret creations of the decade'

For those not ‘in the know’, Miss Hope Springs is the alter ego of the super talented singer/songwriter Ty Jeffries, a wonderful creation, a naughty chanteuse and ex-showgirl with a twinkle in her eye and a joke for every occasion. Do not despair however, as a visit to Miss Springs website will avail one of all information required to catch her show, if you were unfortunate enough to miss her at Crazy Coqs. http://www.misshopesprings.com

The Crazy Coqs, that fabulous cabaret room at the heart of Piccadilly, goes from strength to strength. Miss Springs’ spot on a Sunday evening will be filled for the next three weeks, by the ever talented and ultra-stylish John Standing, much loved, quintessentially English actor and very talented songster, who has that rare ability to transport his audience to the heady heyday of Cole Porter and the American songbook.

“Anne Reid”
Reviewed 22 April 2014

My first time here with friends to see the excellent English actress Anne Reid. She was fantastic and couldn't believe how she stood there for over an hour (the lady is past 30!!)singing and telling stories of her life in showbiz. She then walked through the audience after the show to chat. The room is very stylish with wonderful Art Deco glass and decor. Bottle of wine £20 a fair price for this type of venue. A very good night.
