I could stay again just for the location. A lot of stores, galleries and restaurants within the walking distance. Clean and almost spacious rooms, good beds. Awful lobby and a gym to avoid. Breakfast ok.

Best possible location in London for shopping, entertainment and sightseeing, very friendly and service minded staff and 5 star quality rooms, while common areas are more like 4 stars. Very popular restaurant which was fully booked upon our arrival. Make a reservation before. The concierge provided excellent advice and we had a very good dinner at an Italian restaurant on the same street 3 min away fr the hotel. Shopping on Oxford (Top Shop for teen agers), Regent (for all) and Jermyn (gents primarily) street is best between 10-12 on Saturdays before its too crowdy. Afternoon tea at Ritz or Fortnum & Masons, tweed at Cordings are classical stops. The very old department store Liberties is beautiful and has a very exotic atmosphere. Enjoy it.

I stayed at the Courthouse for two nights. No warm welcoming at check in, the receptionist was quite demure. No explanation about services, internet, breakfast etc.

The room was okay. Apart from the long hair I found between the sheets and the towels.

Food (I ordered from in room dining) was decent. At best.

I asked for an adapter as I forgot to bring mine. Unfortunately the hotel does not provide adapters, so you better not forget them back home.

Wifi connection costs about 18 GBP a day. Mine did not work at all, it took me four hours to send an E-mail. At check out I asked the receptionist to take this amount off my bill - he said this was not possible. No word of excuse. Nothing.

Eventually he was not able to print an proper invoice. I wrote down my business address for him - but when I checked on the invoice, the address was completely missing.

Admittedly the location of the Courthouse is simply perfect. But there are dozens of better hotel options to choose from.

Definitely not worth another stay.

The hotel is placed in the most interesting part of the town - between Oxford Circus and Picadily Circus tube stations, so you can easily use red, blue and couple of other tube lines. Lots of bars restaurats around, so i really loved the location.

Staff is friendly and helpful, so that is nice. No free wifi and the rate for a day is high, so decided to use it only in lobby. Standart double rooms do not a have a good street view, so if you want it to be nice - take superior.

Did not like the style of the furniture inside, seems to be not the level of 5* hotel, but for 182 pounds a night it is fine for such a location.

I recently attended a function at this hotel which is in a great location but the quality of service is dire. With the exception of a couple of excellent waiters, the attitude and general lack of courtesy and service here was quite shocking. There are far too many better choices in London. Even the porter when I left told me he thought their service was poor...

I'm not sure whether they actually have 5 stars or not, it doesn't say anywhere, but hotel is really nice, excellent location, with good breakfast. Comfortable beds, spacious rooms, pretty much everything what you might need from the hotel was ok. Internet connection is available, but highly priced, a bit of a shame.

We had series of problems, all of them related to the staff. Specifically, we had 4 rooms for 6 people, all specified by the reservation, who should have what room. Pretty much all of that was messed up during checkin, a man named Mustafa, who managed to completely mixed all of the rooms. Apparently he didn't even read the reservation, nor comments. Also ignored completely the fact that we wanted some rooms for smokers.
That caused all sort of problems, we had wrong names for the rooms, so even when one of the door cards had to be exchanged, hotel couldn't match name to the room. That caused another series of problems during checkout, as we needed specific invoices and we had to call reception manager who finally was listening to what we needed. That caused all sort of problems, we had wrong names assigned to the rooms, so even when one of the door cards had to be exchanged, hotel couldn't match name to the room. All of that was completely unnecessary and easily could be avoided just by better staff training.

Room Tip: Just make sure you are getting a room which you reserved.
