Description: Our inspiration for the food and design of Cote is a modern interpretation of the many famous bistros of Paris. Inspired by new trends, we are dedicated to serving authentic classic brasserie dishes with a modern twist, using high quality produce at great prices. On the menu, guests will always find brasserie favourites on our a la carte menu such as steak frites, moules marinieres, corn-fed chicken from rural Brittany and tuna Nicoise, for dessert, Cote's creme caramel and creme brulee are much-loved house specialities. Seasonality and Cote's commitment to sourcing high-quality ingredients results in a monthly changing specials menu, ensuring there is always something new to delight regular guests and gastronomes alike, as well as the excellent value set menu. Open early every day for breakfast, through to lunch and dinner; Cote's atmosphere is informal and friendly

The title of this review may seem bizarre but it is my experience that, immaculate toilets usually mean extremely hygienic kitchens and attention to detail throughout the restaurant. Ideally paced for those taking their family to the Tower of London, Tower Bridge or HMS Belfast, it overlooks St Katherine Docks and sitting outside in the sun is a real treat. My wife and I had the excellent prawn gratin and our granddaughter, Ellie, the calamari. My wife and Ellie had steaks and I had the skate with capers. The portions were more than adequate and beautifully cooked. Ellie finished with an ice cream and we had coffee. We had sparkling water and a bottle of Viognier and the bill was less than £90.00 including the gratuity. Not bad for a central London tourist site with the bonus of a tranquil scenic view.

Staff seemed unable to cope at a busy time, the waitng for attention and food became very frustrating. Food was just average but a couple of grapes in a glass of apple does not constitute a fruit salad!

As a couple, Sat Aug 16th. Had a very warm welcome by Martha and great, friendly table service by Magda. Very enjoyable main courses and spinach as an extra ( fish pie and a belly of pork ). reasonably ( for London !) priced wine plus 12.5 % service charge. Lovely outdoor table with heaters and a great view of part docks. I even lost a cap there without knowing it until the morning - returning to find that Magda had kept it for me, !

If we stay in this area again ( Tower was great ) we will dine here again.

The staff are so friendly and the food is exceptional. A must try for everyone who visits St Katharine's dock. The view from the restaurant is also spectacular.

Cote Brasserie is generally Very Good. We were unfortunately a little disappointed with this one. Standards were lower than the other Cotes we have eaten at. The staff appeared disinterested and disengaged, pity - it's agreat location - might just have been an off day ?
