“Great place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of central London”
Reviewed 23 July 2017 for a stay in May 2017

The flat is located a short walk to all the amenities one might need on a stay in London. The flat itself was extremely well set up and tastefully decorated. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. It felt like home. The short walk from the flat to Chiswick High Street goes through a well maintained and well used park full of families enjoying the outdoors. Chiswick High Street itself is a delightful hub of the town filled with restaurants and shopping. Just beyond High Street is the London Underground station (District Line) which took us to all the attractions of central London and connections to other areas.. The owners were so welcoming and made our entire week long stay a real pleasure. Recommend it highly!

“Excellent choice for location in so many ways”
Reviewed 28 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

This home is on Barrowgate Road, a very smart section of Chiswick. The house itself is lovely with two bedrooms, each with a bathroom with shower, a pleasant sitting room and a very nice kitchen. WIFI is included as is cable TV. 10 minute walk to Chiswick Park tube station with regular service to central London (20-25 minutes depending on where you are going. Chiswick has numerous excellent restaurants on all price levels and is a vibrant town at night. Parking is available on the street with some restricted times forcing you to park five minutes away. Overall this is a fine choice if you have a family that can live within its size limitations. Access to all the accommodations is via stairways.

“Good and quiet location”
Reviewed 10 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

The three of us enjoyed our stay in Chiswick. The location was handy for going into town or just shopping locally. The house was tastefully decorated and clean, beds very comfortable - a home away from home. Sandra had written a good instruction folder which was helpful.

“Gracious, comfortable house on a peaceful, safe street.”
Reviewed 21 September 2014 for a stay in September 2014

This rental has 3 levels, beginning one level up from the ground floor, which is occupied. It's all beautifully furnished and well-appointed. First you reach a bedroom with double bed, next to full bathroom with double sinks and bathtub/shower, and combo washer/dryer. Up a few steps to next level, the open-plan kitchen, dining area and living room space, with kitchen appliances all working perfectly. Lots of plates, glasses, cutlery. On one side of living room is a sofa-futon which serves as an extra bed. You go up a full flight of stairs to top level and second bedroom, larger than the first, with adjoining "wet room" bathroom. It has a shower with no stall or curtain; water goes into drain in middle of the room, works fine. The whole flat is light and in excellent condition, has good hot water supply, all beds have duvets and crisp, clean linens. The owners are friendly and helpful. It's an 8-minute walk to Chiswick High Road (post office, cafes, supermarket, shops) and 10-minutes to the Gunnersbury Tube station. WiFi and Cell phone reception are fine. No access to garden, no deck. Some of the beautiful, mostly old, furnishings seemed a little delicate, and there are not safety railings on all the stairs, so I would not recommend it for young children. Otherwise, unless you have difficulty with stairs, this is a *great* place to stay.

“Elegent and Comfortable.”
Reviewed 30 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

We enjoyed our stay at this flat immensely. The home is comfortable, nicely decorated and well equipped. It is perfect for 2 couples or a family of 4. It exceeded our expectations. It is in a charming neighbourhood with lots of parks, shops, restaurants and pubs. It is also close to public transit so we found it easy to find our way to all areas of London. It was so nice to come home and relax after a day's sightseeing. We would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great place to stay in London should the occasion arise. I would also like to mention how helpful and accomodating the owner was to deal with when planning our stay.
