Fantastic pub! 3 weary tourists were pleased to find such a lovely place, serving brilliant food with such a friendly landlady and staff. We loved it so much that we returned the following night, just regret not finding it on our first night! Thought food was exceptionally great and a reasonable price for home cooked food, even went out of their way to amend the menu for our young child. Word of warning - not open Sat/Sun. Will be returning whenever we're next in London.

“Nice and convenient”
Reviewed 29 August 2013

We had dinner at St Brides Tavern on our first night in London. It was close to our hotel and after walking most of the afternoon all around Westminster it was a relief to find a nice place to eat. The outside is (as most pubs) quaint and had lots of hanging baskets of flowers. The food was quite good. My companion had the Bean chili and I had the fish and chips (what else?). The fish was crisp and delicious. The chips were fresh and hot. I don't care for mushy peas but tried them anyway. Would definitely go back again.
