Owner description: A place where you can go and listen to the best bands in London for free most of the time. great selection of well kept Ales and Lagers at normal pub prices.

The Venue itself is a cozy pub in Rayne's Park, South West London. On the particular night I went, I saw 1970's rock legends "The Heavy Metal Kids" (Free Admission - but the Band had a well deserved collection done for them)They, of course, were superb. The atmosphere was amazing, the Staff and customers are really friendly. The Landlord, Noel Nevin, is probably one of the nicest guys I've met (Thanks for remembering me Noel) and if you like real ale, this amazing place sells ....wait for it.... Cavern Ale! a very nice pint that's ideal for drinking while watching bands and socialising with friends I hadn't sen for a while. But don't just take my word for it, if you have Facebook, you can sign up for the Cavern Freehouse page and get updates as to which Legends will be playing. Don't just sit there, Become a regular!

Top pub with a top guvnor, who keeps the beer well and puts on FREE bands. It's therefore only good manners to buy a drink, not expect to drink only free tap water,or buy nothing at all.Seems like the only complainants are the tightwads!
