I had just visited Taipei and Yilan last month with my family. It was then that I realised how difficult it must be for the chefs at this place to cook all these separate dishes in one tiny shop. In Taiwan, you will only find one type of food in each shop/stall. Not all in one = unlike Old Tree Daiwan Bee.
Having just tasted the real thing in Taipei and memories are still fresh, I personally thinks this place has done a great job in bringing the taste of Taiwan to Soho.

However, they have another bigger shop in Golders Green, and the 2 places serves different things, so to satisfy my hunger, I need to travel to both.

I personally likes oyster omelette, stewed belly pork rice, stewed eggs, coconut bubble pearl tea, ice coffee (strong), stewed pig's trotters and 3 cups chicken.

I personally think, that street food ought to be consumed in a casual environment. Which this place is exactly that. Strangers sharing tables, sitting snuggly and munching away on different dishes that would only be found (each type) in many different stalls in the night market of Taiwan.
I highly recommend the Oyster Omelette and Gwa Bao - Marinated Pork Belly piece sandwich in a steamed bun. If you are not put off by offal, do give the Oyster thin noodles a go. Taiwanese style deep fried chicken beats any KFC's. If you are not hungry enough, they have cakes, pies and pastries too. I have tried their apple pie and almond meal raspberry pie; both are surprisingly good; all washed down with a glass of brewed bubble pearl tea.

This place is seriously authentic, not to be missed.
Just a reminder: Its Cash Only.
